Aspiring country singer Jessica Simpson leaves the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Manhattan and heads over to the Steiner Studios in Brooklyn on Thursday for an ad shoot with Macy’s department stores.
The 28-year-old actress will be joined by Martha Stewart, Kenneth Cole and Tommy Hilfiger on a full-scale replica of a Macy’s store.
Last year’s Macy’s celebs included: Sean Combs, Kimora Lee Simmons, Russell Simmons, Emergil Lagasse and Marc Ecko.

She is pretty. She has a nice voice but she messess it up moaning and straining tyring to do Mariah Carey and Christian Agularrie. There is only one Mariah Carey and her hand movements 7 level voice is unqiuely hers. Others are all imitators. That even means Christina A. who has a natural powerful voice. The hand moements she and Jessica took from Mariah.
Her father , Joe Simpson, has taken Jesicca and her “double D’s” as he called them and parlayed tens of millionsof dollars for Jessica, Joe and Tina , and Ashlee too. Joe is good at his job, daddyger, but he needs to STFU and stay in the background. Jesscia is worth around 50 millions. The country cd is a marketing tool. It is not sincere. I think Tony Romo wil ldump her by Dec. 31. HE is a married man-to Ms. football and is under 100% pressure from teamates, fans, staff, and Dallas Cowboy owners to produce. Jessica is too highprofile and all consuming . He is young ,rich, and famous and there are tons of pretty girls out there and ones with money too.
I thougth the treatment of Nick was shabbby. He was a marketing tool that played its time in Jessica’s career. Jessica has talked too much about him and it is going to bite her .
That is , Jessica has talked too much about Tony Romo and her song about him, Your’s My Sunday, not good ideas and it is going to bite her.
her country cd should do well ,because country fans are gullible and go for anything. Most of what is out by female country is pop-country.
I would say it will interesting to see at the Country music award show with her Tony, and Carrie will be there performing on stage, but Jessica and Tony will be spitsville by the time the award shows roll around.

I like the way you think Denver. Spot on for the most part. This family just got lucky. Joe marketed them like they were Hef’s girls. Ashlee has zero talent. Jessica plays the stupid game and it worked in her favor for a while..but now she’s needing to re-invent herself. They do nothing but shop all day long in between marketing themselves with stupid meaningless stuff. The two of them have had more plastic surgery than women twice their age…but still seem so proud and ego driven.
