Meg Ryan is Sleepless in Italy
Sleepless in Seattle actress Meg Ryan receives the Francois Truffaut Award during the Giffoni Film Festival on Thursday in Giffoni, Italy.
The 46-year-old actress will be coming out with her next film, The Women, slated for a Sept. 12th opening.
It is a remake of George Cukor’s 1939 film of the same name where a wealthy New York leaves her cheating husband and bonds with other women at a resort.
Annette Bening, Candice Bergen, Carrie Fisher, Debi Mazar, Debra Messing, Bette Midler and Jada Pinkett Smith will all co-star.
Now that’s a lot of women!

What makes it worse is that she’s trying to be all chirpy and happy and cute like she’s 20. Why do celebrities these days act like politicians, like EVERYONE has to love them? Meg needs to learn that being “America’s Sweetheart” is not real and to get over herself.

The first is a picture taken badly it makes her look like she’s been lightly fried. However, if she doesn’t smile she looks better than she did awhile ago but when she smiles it sends the material that she’s had implanted in her face upwards which then appears to distort her face..same thing with Melanie Griffiths.

Why do these aging celebrities insist on injecting themselves so much and shaving off their eyebrows only to draw them back on?

Most of you people are just vicious and nasty. Haven’t you got anything better to do than pass judgement on someone’s appearance via the cowardly anonymity that the internet affords you? I shouldn’t even waste my time venting, because you people are probably too shallow and superficial to even comprehend what I’m saying. None of you know exactly what work (if any) she has had done, and it’s none of your business. The irony is, that despicable comments like the ones displayed here, are the very reason celebrities (and increasingly the general public) do mess up their faces. And incidentally, I wonder how attractive you people actually are? I hope your negative venom comes back to haunt you.

As about Meg Ryan - everybody can just look at her newest photo from The Women premiere - where she looks perfectly natural, with a fair sking and her very normal face - just as we always knew her; obviously no “work” done. So it is just a particular bad picture that this website decided to use.
It is quite strange why many websites (not only this one) systematically chooses a specially bad pictures when it’s about Meg Ryan - while a lot (actually much more) perfectly normal ones are available. With such specially made selection, it becomes understandable how this mass myth about “surgery that ruined her face” perpetuates. But it’s just a myth.
Maybe she just needs a hair cut. The long ‘do” just isn’t working. She’d look 20 years younger with shorter hair — her signature hair. Le sigh.
It’s too late for her to stop the surgery and botoxing…the damage has already been done and can’t be undone. Meg Ryan has ruined her face and career. Who can focus on her acting when we’re so distracted by the terrible results of too much bad plastic surgery?
I know that this is a cruel business for aging women, but some actresses handle aging well. Just get a nip and tuck now and then, not an over-the-top slice and dice. Accept that you will get older and, of course, look older.
