I just want to take tis opportunity to wish our angel ck a happy belated birthday. Sorry, ck, that the 21st flew by me unnoticed but you will never go unnoticed! Hope it was great and we miss you here.

Maybe Sears is wanting to change their image and wanting to get back to their glory days—yes, they were once very well thought of in their clothing, appliances, etc. I would say they are very intent on doing that or they wouldn’t have gotten Vanessa Hudgnes for their ads. They have Ty Pennington doing ads for their home improvement department so they do mess around when they go after spokespeople. They deserve a look just for that face alone. And within the past year I have had opportunity to go back into a few Sears stores and they have changed a lot than what they were there for several years. For me, I don’t care what store it is, if it has something I like, I buy. To me, a snob is someone who would not wear something they might even love just because it doesn’t come from a certain store or doesn’t have a certain label on it. If something looks great and fits you like a glove, who cares what the label is or where it came from? There was a female celebrity some years back who everyone was gushing about the dress she was wearing on the red carpet and she finally admitted to finding it in a THRIFT shop. She didn’t care what the label said or that it lacked a fancy store name and she did look spectacular even though my brain has gone blank to who it is. I just remember thinking what a great lady that was for going with what she loved and what look good on her.

and i agree..i think it was a little much to actually make music videos for a sears commercial. LOVE her. LOVE the clothes. But seriously?

Love this video….Vanessa has such great rhythm and it’s awesome to watch her dance!! This is going to be great for Sears!! How nice for the girls who can’t afford pricey clothes……and why spend the money when you can look like Vanessa???
