Yes, because why would they lie? Leo and Viv are their son and daughter, whether conceived the normal way or in a dish using their parents’ sperm and eggs. You sound as if IVF is bad and people who have had IVF help will keep it a secret.

When did I EVER say a positive thing about jenjen? I am sure I don’t have to call her Maniston so as not to be classified as her fan, right?
Of course I do not expect you to read all my posts, but if you had you’d know that the only time I expressed any opinion about the rivals was in favour of Jolie.

Also, had you been paying attention you’d realise all I said in this thread is that I was bored to check if the poster actually implied that Aniston is as good as Streep. And I hastened to add that if such thing was indeed implied I am laughing my A** off! To even think that is preposterous… I simply said you should have replied to that alone and not try to prove Streep is not good in EVERY genre.

You are the one who got all worked up without reason, if you feel that such comparisons are pointless, but jumped into the defense of Angie when someone said there are better actresses than her.
And face it, there is no comparison between the two. Streep is a better actress than anyone trotting film stages as we speak. It is a FACT!

No you don’t have to call any one’s name to not be her fan. I am in complete agreement with you here. I meant to include your name on that section of the post only, not on the latter, and to be quick because I did not want to spend load of time here ( I think you agree w/ me here since you appear to be here for the same reason and perhaps got sucked into commenting for the same reason–we read something so strongly disagreeable to us that we lift our fingers and post although we keep telling ourselves we do not come here to post). For this I apologize.

As for my comment on Streep, I did not bring her down. I stated a fact too which is the critics did not think her effort in River Wilde great. I did say I think she’s a great actress but I am not going to think that she does great in every role. Even she has the humility to NOT think she’s great in EVERY role she had taken (I saw this on her bio many years ago).

I make it a point to never compare artists because art is result of perceptions and emotions which are not formulated therefore can’t be standardize. And no one, absolutely no one, is universally liked or deemed great. You are entitled to think that she’s great in every role. I am entitled to my thinking. It does not take one ounce away from Streep’s accomplishment as an actress. For me, the fact is that the majority of movie goers think Streep is a great actress in most of many genres. Action (for female actress) is one genre that has changed drastically over the years so my opinion is that it is ridiculous to compare an action actress of last decade to this one.

I only focused on the validity of the argument on my posts, not whether Jolie or Aniston is great actress. I think had I not mentioned Aniston’s name, neither you nor bet nor the other poster would have criticize me regardless of Streep. If you had checked my posts you ought to have seen that I did state clearly that I think Streep is a great actress. So if you were incensed at me because of Streep, you ought to think a bit about what I tried to convey then deleted your comment to me before submitting. I did this many, many times. If you missed my disclaimer, then, well, I’ve done that too so…this exchange is the result.

The truth is you got worked up not entirely due to Streep but also because I questioned Aniston’s accomplishment as an actress. It’s alright. You can like her as an actress though you’re not a fan, just as I like many actresses (Streep is one) for their acting ability, and some also for their beauty, but I’m not a fan of any of them.

I stand by my reason to see flaw in the other’s poster argument. If anyone could not see that I wasn’t demeaning Streep then it is because she has such intention herself in similar mean of debate. I know I don’t so I’ll make no apology for my way of supporting my argument.

I suppose this is part of the fun of lurking here. So I think we can both agreed that we are somewhat entertained.
