Selena Gomez: Peace Out, Girl Scout

Selena Gomez rocks out a scarf with a peace-sign design as she leaves her home in North Hollywood, Calif., on Saturday morning. (She was also spotted in a gray top and leggings on Friday.)

The 16-year-old Wizards of Waverly Place star is schedule to appear on Live With Regis and Kelly! this Thursday, July 31st.

Selena will soon be competing in the Disney Channel games, an olympic-based special miniseries. Watch the premiere on Sunday, July 28 @ 8PM ET/PT on Disney Channel.

I love Selena, she’s so cute and a good actress. I don’t understand the hate from Miley fans, though. The world is big enough for both of them. I doubt Selena is at home going “oh yeah I can’t wait to take Miley’s place” and anyone who thinks that is an idiot, sorry to say. Selena can be a successful actress/singer/whatever she chooses WITHOUT taking Miley’s place. I don’t like Miley, but there’s no denying how hugely famous she is right now, and, unfortunately (to me), she’s gonna stay famous for a while. Miley’s fame has absolutely no ties to Selena’s.
