Jessica Simpson - “Do You Know” Album Cover
Check out Jessica Simpson’s album cover for Do You Know, her debut country album after her crossover to country music. It will be released on Tuesday, September 9th.

Jess, 28, co-wrote all but three of the tracks on her album, including her Top 20 hit single, “Come On Over.”
It was also recently announced that Ms. Simpson will be performing at The Akwesasne Music Festival at the Discount Concert Grounds in Hogansburg, New York on Aug. 29.

You would thing that someone who travels with her hairdresser would not being showing black roots. I don’t get how you can sell hair extensions and your hair look like ****! The “new” song sucks, the boots come on over and get a new pair. She has wore the same ones in all her country appearances. I don’t get the boot dress combo. At countyr thunder she had on long sleeves pushed up and ripped up shirts and boots. It was hotter then hell that day and she looked like she should have been working the pole not telling stories of her songs. The crowd was not that into her. FYI!
I know most people don’t like her based on what they see in the tabloids, but I have worked with her and she’s very sweet and nice person far less dumb and annoying as she seemed on that show. On the negative she grew up a very strange and sheltered life constantly worried that if she ever confided in someone it would end up in the papers. You try living like that and see how you would like it.
Even though I don’t particularly like her music, I have to give her credit for still trying to make it work. She could easily disappear and live off of the millions she already has, but she keeps trying. Unlike, some of the pop-tarts she is associated with she has some respect for herself and a good work ethic.
I know a bunch of you will say she’s (fill in the adjective), but I imagine that a lot of you have broken up with significant others and dated again and it might not have worked out, so you dated again. Contrary to popular belief this does not make you a *****. Keep saying crap like that and you’ll have other people believing it’s okay to say about you.

First off, I am not a fan of Jessica Simpson’s music. But I certainly don’t feel the need to slam her every chance I get. Give the girl a break. You know, all these comments against Jessica not only as a singer but a person reminds me of one of my favorite quotes: “Those too weak to follow their own dreams will always find a way to discourage yours”. So, before you judge Jessica Simpson (or anyone else) for trying to follow their dreams, ask yourself, “Am I following mine?” If some people put as much enregy into living their own lives and following their own dreams as they do in putting down celebrities, imagine the amount of success we would have.
If you don’t want to buy her music, that’s fine. As a consumer that is your choice. But I find it disgusting that people find enjoyment in putting other people down. No wonder our world is so screwed up. It’s sad.

I think she looks pretty. I don’t have a problem with simple as long as the picture is pretty. I wish her the best of luck. Unfortunately she seems to have a talent for timing to be one of a crowd, country music is full of talented blondes right now just like pop was back when she was a pop star, but she’s always been talented so I wish her well.
She looks amazing as usual, I just wish she would’ve smiled.
I’m not a fan of her music, but she’s got a great voice. I guess she had to make sure everyone realized she’s gone country by wearing the boots. How about the cowboy hat, a piece of straw in the mouth, plaid shirt, horses in the background, and a piece of cornbread in the hand? That’ll scream country!
Everyone has to make a buck, and it is nice to be successful. I wish her luck.

She probably should have gone the country route to begin with…I’m sure she’s always been a country girl from Texas. Country fans may not be as warm to her music now because it seems like she is using it as a last resort but I wish her the best. She shouldn’t have let Nick lachey get away, though. He worshipped her.

This is something many of you should read & take to heart. Cut the hate!! If you don’t like the music fine but the girl deserves a break & if you really read & comprehend what this Nashville journalist is really saying Jessica’s perfromance was a very good one & while there were boo’s as with any given concert just Not Jessicas she was very well recieved. Forget the friggin tabloids & all this other garbage Jessica is a great girl. Forget about Carrie there is no issue.

Yeah, we ,new orleans and denver went to the same elementary school and university because I am the same person. To you, the rocket scientist, pardon me for not using the spacebar and rereading before submitting. Yes ,I rushed out my posts because I was playing around on the computer during a break while here at work. When one makes typos ,there is always one person like you who makes a nasty comment instead of saying, “Reread and use spacing next time.” Why are you here playing on a fan website when you are in such a high powered profession as a emergency room doctor or corporate lawyer. As for me, I work in sales at a major U.S. hotel.
I took a break from my work here and in my office ,I occasionaly like to play on line. I am allowed. I am here to finish up some things on my own time.

I am not a Jessica hater. I l used to like her ,but it is just business. She is not a noble profession. If country bombs for her or does so -so, then Joe might and could push to to R&B or hipHop. LOL! Whatever sells!!!! I respect her and her father Joe for his kneen business sense and marketing skills. He could teach a class, LOL! It is all about the money in show business and he/ pushing Jessica and Ashlee in any direction that pays off. I bet after the sister has her baby ,Joe will push her into parenting things in the media. He might have lined up for her a maternity line or maternity modeling now for nat. chains like A Pea in a Pod Stores. I would not be surprised.
We know he will def. sell the baby pics ,etc. Sell the baby too for baby modeling ,whatever sells, pays money as long as the public buys what he is selling and the companies out there pay for it.
He has the midas touch. Jessica is worth around 50 million or more from her business entiites and not really that much from show business.
