OlderShia LaBeouf Arrested For DUI
Shia LaBeouf has been arrested for suspicion of a DUI misdemeanor.
TMZ reports the 22-year-old Transformers actor was arrested around 3 a.m. Sunday morning in Hollywood for allegedly driving drunk. Shia made a left turn in front of another car causing the two cars to collide.
Labeouf is currently undergoing surgery for a badly injured left hand.
While being interviewed on The Late Show with David Letterman in May, Shia joked, “Drinking and driving is one thing, but drinking and shopping … it’s just as bad.” What kind of jokes will Shia tell about drinking now?
Also back in November, a “pretty wasted” (those were his own words) Shia was arrested after refusing to leave a Walgreens in Chicago around four in the morning.

I think that he needs help…I really like him and think he is a good actor…but they need to do more than just throw the book at him….or else it will happen again…they need to deal with the root of the problem…I hope those people get better and I hope he finds help…
clearly, these hollywood kids have some pretty serious demons…they can afford to be driven around when drinking, and choose to drive drunk. They all seem to think they’re invincible, how stupid. The real tragedy is that he’s not dead because of it.
THEY need to throw the book at him. It’s HIS responsibility to get to the root of the problem. Which he should have done after the ‘Walgreen’s’ incident. If he didn’t care enough to get help, that’s his own fault, not society’s.

He comes from a family of stoners. Not that I am judging but he’s the same age as me and guys and girls like to get high, but the stupid thing is he probably has some really dumb friends that he surrounds himself with. He doesn’t seem like the kind of kid that grew up with any boundaries if any of you have read interviews and articles with him, you get what I’m saying.

#30 - I never had any respect for Hollywood - it is the most shallow and overrated place, entirely based on “image” and “looks” to the exclusion of any intellectual, creative or spiritual merit. It the terrorists destroyed it, nothing would be lost in terms of value to society. Wish it had been LA rather than the World Trade Center.
It’s bad to see celebrities that can joke around about something so serious. Sets a bad example for the younger fans that look up to them.
