OlderShia LaBeouf Arrested For DUI
Shia LaBeouf has been arrested for suspicion of a DUI misdemeanor.
TMZ reports the 22-year-old Transformers actor was arrested around 3 a.m. Sunday morning in Hollywood for allegedly driving drunk. Shia made a left turn in front of another car causing the two cars to collide.
Labeouf is currently undergoing surgery for a badly injured left hand.
While being interviewed on The Late Show with David Letterman in May, Shia joked, “Drinking and driving is one thing, but drinking and shopping … it’s just as bad.” What kind of jokes will Shia tell about drinking now?
Also back in November, a “pretty wasted” (those were his own words) Shia was arrested after refusing to leave a Walgreens in Chicago around four in the morning.

Too much money, too soon. They are so young and have sooooo much money, they think they are above the law. At 22, to have all that money and fame, on top of having addiction issues is a recipe for disaster! He is really talented…hope he gets help. we heart u Shia!!!!
I remember an interview he did with GQ where he said he was nothing like young hollywood stars like Brit and Lindsay. People in glass houses….
It boggles my mind how much money can blurr ones vision? I’m 21 and never have gotten behind the wheel while or drinking for that matter. its crazy i remember a time where i knew shia could be counted on as being a steady role model. looks like that just hit the fan. But whats interesting to me is that im a HUGE fan of his.. wont stop me from liking him just puts his character into jeopardy. but it will take some hard learning. next time he’ll **** up majorly and then will see whose behind him.
Shame on him, indeed! This is really sad news..always thought he had more sense than this. :(
It’s too bad he’s wasting his talent and career -he had a great honor in being chosen to work on Indy 4 with Spielberg and Ford- and almost promised the keys to the franchise down the road it seems, but he is throwing it away with this behavior! I do fear he may end up another casualty of Hollywood.

Shia is becoming his own worse nightmare. And he thinks it is funny. He is pathetic. And dangerous. He thinks he is someone, and he is no-one. He needs to be brought down, and maybe a lack of jobs, is the way to go. If he were anyone else, he would not have a job. A normal person would be fired. Wake up Shia and get help.
Please these people are not from Hollywood. They are from the hinterlands and back alleys of America. Don’t blame Hollywood. These people would be the same if they hadn’t left home.Shia is talented but obviously has some serious problems that need to be fixed ASAP!
I’m with everyone else. Sooo disapointed in Shia! Also disapointed with the chick he was with that let him drive drunk or high! Someone needs to slap some sense into him. Ugh, hopefully he will clean his act up, if not I’m done with liking him
the other issues he’s been arrested/cited for have been BS, but drinking and driving is another story. i’m all for going out and drinking, but i NEVER drive after i’ve been drinking…i always get a DD or take a taxi…theres no excuses for celebs to be out driving and drinking - w/all their connections and status they can easily find someone to be their b*tch and drive them around all night, or hire a driver….but what do celebs care if they get a DUI? they get a few hours in a private holding cell..the fines have no effect on their wallets, and their jobs or social lives don’t suffer b/c they just end up getting ppl to drive them around..OR They drive anyways and get away with it…

dui’s are just part of being famous, nothing happens to these people. Few hours of community service, maybe a fine. No problem, kill someone while drunk, ah well they’re get off of that too. it’s okay celebs, drink up and drive, you’ll be ok.
shia wut has gotten into you these days….teens and tweens look up to you! you’re an amazing actor…give up the drinking, drugs, smoking, or what other bad stuff you are doing!!! you’re different than britany, lindsey, miley, and brad pitt i know you are…Shia you are an amazing guy! don’t be a follower be a leader….you will get WAY more respect that way….i forgive but you have to change!! two times is enough!

i hate this guy. I used to like him back in the day. Now I see he’s just a bad actor and a total loser.
Oh for crying out loud -yes a DUI is bad…but to me all I see is a 22 year old kid going through the normal growing pangs of 22 year old males everywhere.
Just thank god he didn’t truly hurt anyone but himself and stop being overly dramatic about it.

God, shut up you hypocritical *****. He’s a normal guy who does normal things.
The studios have a major investment in this guy. With what he did, he’s delayed filming on Transformers and possibly other projects. My take is they’ll probably FORCE him to go to rehab to make sure he doesn’t eff up again, and then he’ll be subjected to regular drug and alcohol tests for insurance purposes.
Who does he think he is…just b/c he is famous doesn’t mean he can do whatever he want’s…he needs to cut is out…
