Cate Blanchett Lends A Helpmann Helping Hand
Cate Blanchett (in Armani) joins director husband Andrew Upton and Australian playwright and director Michael Gow at the 2008 Helpmann Awards at Star City Casino on Monday in Sydney, Australia.
The Helpmanns is the Aussie equivalent to Broadway’s Tony Awards. As Sydney Theatre Company directors, Cate and Andrew presented the awards, named in honor of the late Australian dancer, actor, director and choreographer Sir Robert Helpmann.
The four young actors who share the role of Billy Elliot (Lochlan Denholm, Nick Twiney, Rarmian Newton and Rhys Kosakowski) took the stage together last night after winning Best Actor.

Husband = troll.
Her skin is so luminous. I don’t think she botoxes but if she does, her doctor does a good job.
she’s so sweet …. and NOT botoxed
i like her because she does not parade herself around daily just so she can be on the cover of a magazine.
She keeps to herself and her family and comes out to be photographed for special events (unlike the annoying Miranda Kerr).
Cate Blanchett, Naomi Watts and Nicole Kidman are the only Australian celebrities who are pure class.
