Christian Bale Tackles Tokyo
Christian Bale and his wife Sibi Blazic walk the red carpet of The Dark Knight Japan Premiere at Tokyo International Forum on on Monday in Tokyo, Japan.
The Dark Knight took in $75.6 million this weekend, according to studio estimates, giving it over $314 million in 10 days, easily making it the fastest film to earn $300 million. The previous record was held by Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest, which did it in 16 days.
The Batman sequel set to become the second highest-grossing film of all time, on track to surpass Star Wars‘ $461 million. Titanic remains the all-time grossing movie with $601 million.

13th!!!!!That is awesome that this film has earned all the money the exec.’s had predicted plus miliions more. And to Number#9, Christian HAS given his selfish sister and mother money time after time. ( interview in magazine article) They just keep blowing the money as fast as they get it, and he stated ” they have nothing substantial to show for it”. Then they throw his nieces and nephews up in his face to make him feel guilty. The sister needs to get child support from all of her children’s fathers and quit hitting on her brother every day. That was low class to show up on premier night, his biggest of the year, and pull a trashy stunt like that. The bar tender said the mother and sister had been drinking prior to that, and were rude and had been asked to leave twice. And they ” were going to teach Christian a lesson’? They are trash in my book.

I’m glad the incident with his relatives isn’t ruining his reputation. Seems like almost everyone understands that he was put upon by the mother and sister and defended his wife from them as well. I completely respect him for not letting them do that to him and his family.

And his wife is not boring! She looks very peasant and down to Earth. Only remarks I have are about the black dresses she only wears and the watch. You don’t do diamonds, cocktail dress and a watch honey. No matter if it is Cartier.

Sibi isn’t a celebrity, she’s just there to support her husband, so I don’t think she feels the need to be fashionable. She wears what she wants, she’s not there for the publicity.

Nice to see Christian smiling for a change. Sibi is gorgeous and always seems appropriate - even without the help of a stylist. People always pick on her for her teeth etc. but they seem like a really low key couple & don’t need to impress “Hollywood.”

Yes, I agree completely. Sibi isn’t there to attract attention or to steal the show, she just wants to support her husband. I think she looks very elegant and they look great together.
The Dark Knight was fantastic. I can’t wait to get it on DVD.
It’s a bit lousy that he gets to take credit for the next biggest box office movie ever WHEN it was really Heath Ledger who’s acting stole the movie…and made it a huge HIT.

Yes, Heath was good, but even he needed someone as strong as Batman (and CB playing him) to act against, the film would have fallen flat.

Christian Bale is Welsh. The man can do any accent, he’s a chameleon. I like his Style
Christian Bale is the greatest actor of his generation. He is exceptionally talented and has looks and a body to die for. He is really dedicated to is craft, as what he did in the making of “The Machinist”. He shuns the limelight and has fiercely guarded his privacy over the years. He is underrated and really deserves mor recognition. As for his wife, I don’t know her, what I d know is that millions would want to be in her shoes. But she could use some oomph in her appearance, though. For Pete’s sake she’s married to the sexiest guy on earth! You can imagine a vixen for Christian’s wife but she’s his choice, just shows he’s down-to-earth , simple and un-Hollywood-like.
They’re not simple country ******* bumpkins and never were. You could see him with a vixen but you can tell he doesn’t like the trouble. He feeds off her stability and pa skills and has transformed the dating game into a quicker faster paced and more fictional version of Happy Families. This will lead to a more reliable film scene in future years. Y’see with him it’s all about Socialite tactics. You can see this in the Casting to his movies and how theyre done and from all elements of his films which is what his real love is for. Being a BIG BadASS Film STAR
I empathise with Christian Bale and always check for his films and appearances. I love Wales but like I got 3 sisters and so has he and we got both got daughters so I just feel that naturally we got a lot in common. Me and my brother really liked him when we were young when he played Jim Hawkins in Treasure Island with Heston, Reed and Postlethwaite. Its a good book aswell. My brother had a copy. By the time American Psycho came out I remembered him so well that the movie really scared me cos he was like the good guy before as Hawkins and the cute kid in Empire of the Sun which I heard about and seen somewhere but I was young. So a few years after that in my Early twenties I found about from the net about The Machinist and Midsummer’s Nights Dream which i’ve seen and later on saw Shaft and Equilibrium found at Blockbuster luckily cos its one of his best but waaaaaay underrated. And like this year watched ‘All The Little Animals’ even though it was made in ‘98 on DVD and it was on TV so I watched it then. Its an enchanting story and now check for John Hurt like the old geezer. Just seen Captain Corelli’s Mandolin where Bale has a really good accent and of course been watching Batman Begins for a while now but had to lend it out by demand cos I’ve told people about it and they seem ‘real keen’ cos it’s Batman not for the quality of the film, director cast or anything like that etc. By then I started to like a lot of the other actors more for featuring with CB like Katie Holmes, Taye Diggs etc .Oh yeah and Velvet Goldmine is on of my favourites seen it about 10 times. My favourite line is him as Bateman to Evelyn(Witherspoon)’I am in touch with humanity’.
