OlderJon Voight: Barack Obama Will Weaken America
Jon Voight has taken a very public stance for the Republican nominee for President, Sen. John McCain. The 69-year-old actor had some very strong words for Sen. Barack Obama and shared them with The Washington Times:
“Sen. Barack Obama has grown up with the teaching of very angry, militant white and black people: the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, Louis Farrakhan, William Ayers and Rev. Michael Pfleger. We cannot say we are not affected by teachers who are militant and angry. We know too well that we become like them, and Mr. Obama will run this country in their mindset.
“The Democratic Party, in its quest for power, has managed a propaganda campaign with subliminal messages, creating a God-like figure in a man who falls short in every way. It seems to me that if Mr. Obama wins the presidential election, then Messrs. Farrakhan, Wright, Ayers and Pfleger will gain power for their need to demoralize this country and help create a socialist America.
“And while a misleading portrait of Mr. Obama is being perpetrated by a media controlled by the Democrats, the Obama camp has sent out people to attack the greatness of Sen. John McCain, whose suffering and courage in a Hanoi prison camp is an American legend… If, God forbid, we live to see Mr. Obama president, we will live through a socialist era that America has not seen before, and our country will be weakened in every way.”

Jill- I hope your doing well! I’ll come back to this thread later. Low info voters drive me crazy! If you don’t like Obama’s plans thats one thing, but the stupid, racist comments… shows the ignorance of the poster! Had to deal a couple of months ago with a regular on the JP thread who still claimed Sen Obama was Muslim. If he was, which he’s not, so? Muslim is not synonymous with terrorist!

In short, for those who did not follow that argument, I said that according to what I read,IF BHO’s father was a Muslim then,
according to Muslims, BHO was too, when he was born and as a young boy in Indonesia, living with his Muslim stepfather. According to Muslims, children follow the father.
Again, according to what I read, he then became a Christian, in which case it is wrong to say that he has never been a Muslim and has always been a Christian. So it depends on BHO’s father. Was he or wasn’t he a Muslim. That was my whole point.
Not that I care. I repeat, I don’t care what BHO’s religion was or is.
‘So?’/'So what?’ if he was a Muslim is a separate issue, and is NOT what I was talking about.

I lost interest in this election and haven’t been following the news regularly. Just pick up things here and there. I hear that BHO has been flip-flopping. That he is not a visionary, but an opportunist. He was ultra-left and is, now that he is the candidate, trying to move to the middle to attract more voters. Can’t blame him. He is just a politician!

I can only imagine what Ms. Marcheline, Angie and James Haven had to endure from him. I was just horrified to read his hell, fire and damnation opinion of Obama. I can’t believe someone could be so blind to come up with that outlook upon a person simply due to the media’s spin on things. If he truly believes that the media and Democratic Party has devised such an outrageous platform, he is totally going to snap if and when Obama becomes President.
