OlderJon Voight: Barack Obama Will Weaken America
Jon Voight has taken a very public stance for the Republican nominee for President, Sen. John McCain. The 69-year-old actor had some very strong words for Sen. Barack Obama and shared them with The Washington Times:
“Sen. Barack Obama has grown up with the teaching of very angry, militant white and black people: the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, Louis Farrakhan, William Ayers and Rev. Michael Pfleger. We cannot say we are not affected by teachers who are militant and angry. We know too well that we become like them, and Mr. Obama will run this country in their mindset.
“The Democratic Party, in its quest for power, has managed a propaganda campaign with subliminal messages, creating a God-like figure in a man who falls short in every way. It seems to me that if Mr. Obama wins the presidential election, then Messrs. Farrakhan, Wright, Ayers and Pfleger will gain power for their need to demoralize this country and help create a socialist America.
“And while a misleading portrait of Mr. Obama is being perpetrated by a media controlled by the Democrats, the Obama camp has sent out people to attack the greatness of Sen. John McCain, whose suffering and courage in a Hanoi prison camp is an American legend… If, God forbid, we live to see Mr. Obama president, we will live through a socialist era that America has not seen before, and our country will be weakened in every way.”

Oh please - Angelina DOES NOT know politics.- she’s a showpiece - that’s it? When she spoke at the UN they asked her if she saw any examples of genocide when she was in Dufar. She said she didn’t know what that meant, but that she would check in to it. Later, she said she checked and that according to her, there was no genocide going on. Guess what - The International Criminal Court indictment of Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir is perhaps the biggest news out of Africa this year. The Sudanese president is the first sitting head of state charged with genocide (7/16/08)

The way John McCain is forgetting things lately, I wouldn’t be surprised if he has the beginning stages of Alzheimer.
He has a HUGE problem, he can’t keep his mouth shut. I see why he’s daughter doesn’t talk to him, her business will be all in the street.
I have not posted on this site for months. Now I will: This man is crazy hateful. Ouch ouch ouch for Angelina. Stay away from him. At the heart of these words is racism, and she has a black daughter. She must keep her dad away from her kids. She cannot love her daughter and at the same time allow her dad ever to be around her family. She must choose her daughter over her dad. If ever it was true that Brad and/or James were trying to get her to get her to have a relationship again with her dad, perhaps now they will see the light. It is impossible.

The man is entitled to his opinion. I love it when Hollywood people start saying things. It gets the discussions going. I’m glad Voight is speaking out. These are serious times we are living in. Leave no stone unturned.
I’m not satisfied with Obama or McCain. I wish we had better candidates.

Angie visited Iraq recently when she was pregnant. She said that she thought the US troops needed to stay in, and that we (US) needed to spend more money on rebuilding the country. Doesn’t exactly agree with Obama’s stance; altho, I have no idea who she supports for Prez.
