Maggie Gyllenhaal Teases Tokyo
Maggie Gyllenhaal dons a daring orange see-through dress by Jean Paul Gaultier at the Japanese premiere of The Dark Knight held at Tokyo International Forum on Thursday in Tokyo, Japan.
The Dark Knight has been dominating the international box office with $65.6 million at 7,143 theaters in 43 markets, pushing its foreign cumulative take to $126.3 million. It’s international gross total stands right now at $126.3 million, and worldwide at over $440 million.
The Batman sequel will open on August 9th in Japan. France, Germany, South Korea, and Spain will also have their release dates in August.

the dress is stunning and fits her perfectly…its all about the personality.
I don’t even like the color of the dress. Too bright for her coloring, and the fact that you can see through it doesn’t help at all.

35th!!!! Love the color on her, but don’t like the pattern. It reminds me of an old crochet pillow. Her hair needs to come down also. That up-do ages her, and does not help her face shape at all. She has the oddest shape eyes any way ( they face downward ) and her hair is cuter fuller and down. But, that orange color is good on her.
Stop it! She’s a vast improvement on Katie Holmes, and looks like a ickle bunny.
Plus the dress - whih s gorgeous - colour is growing on me! :D ;)

I am a reasonable chap, but she was THE worst choice for Dark Knight. I actually cheered out load in the cinema when.. you’ll know when you see it. A superbly unattractive woman in just about every regard. However, far less sterile than Katie Holmes.. but that’s not saying much.
I know it’s a fantasy world.. but.. Bruce Wayne definitely WOULDN’T!

Absolutely agree with all the comments about Maggie being wrong for the part. She would do better in other films but not a huge blockbuster like this one where the woman had to be a vital crux of the story.
No chemistry with either Christian Bale or Aaron Eckhart at all! And the part totally did not fit her. When her character was killed I was like, “oh thank goodness!”
She will always be “Sad Turtle” to me.
She needs a new eyebrow person among other things. She looks stunningly bad here.

So she’s not beautiful but who says all actresses have to be? as long as she performs well who cares if her face is flat! As for the dress…I love it!
