People Magazine Wins Bid For Brad and Angelina’s Twins’ Pictures
JustJared.com has just learned that People magazine has drummed up the winning bid for the first pictures of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s twins - Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline. It is rumored that the winning bid is between $10 million and $15 million. The pictures will come up in a future People magazine issue (but not this week!). The money paid to Brad and Angelina has already been earmarked for charity.
Also, Food and Wine has recently put together restaurants and recipes for the family of 8! Restaurants for large families have been picked by select food bloggers in New York City, Washington D.C., New Orleans, San Francisco and Seattle. Simple, classic and kid-friendly French recipes were also included.

Since you seem to be ignorant, they are not selling their babies. Pictures of their babies are very sought after. If they don’t do what they’re doing, a paparazzi will manage to take the pictures and pocket all the money. It’s much better that the money goes to charity.

I saw in another article that Hello Mag got the rights for the pics , not People Mag. Which is which? It seems that everything we got from the news about who got the exclusive rights are just pure speculation. I am confused.
I also heard that Hello Magazine got the rights to the pictures and are even bringing their date forward to the 4th of August. The story has been over the radio the whole morning - so is it Hello or People??

A private foundation cannot be researched thru a website like CharityWorks to see how much money is actually spent on admin expenses versus how much money actually reaches it’s target.

This is incorrect. Certainly as far as the Jolie Pitt Foundation is concerned. They have or are applying for tax exempt status and plan to operate under that section of the IRS code. They must list admin costs and did so on their latest tax filing - filed October 2007 IIRC. The JP Foundation’s tax filings of many pages is on line and accessible to everyone. We’ve already had this discussion.

Thanks so much! Well, contrary to what I was fearing my hubby came home in very high spirits, no bruises (I was especially worried about the kids reaction to his black and blue face!). But after a short while he start to really hurt, and I spent frantically trying to get his prescriptions filled for Tylenol/Codine medication. (ibuprofen wasn’t allowed) You know how he survived while waiting for it? We had bottles of… Children’s Tylenol LOL!!!
He is fine today, already bandage off—he took a week off from work and going to take it easy.

Agreed. Those filings are for 2006. Do you have a link for 2007? I would just like to see something more current. All I can ever find is blurbs about how much was donated at a particular cause. They are very generous. I would also like to see the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation report if you have access to that link.

The charity that receives this windfall, should hold a televised worldwide press conference & let people know how this money will save lives & bring hope back to our planet.
Perhaps it might inspire others in hollywood release their purse strings as well.
What would really be cool is that you & brad would match People Magazine’s bid and give it to those in NOLA who are still suffering to this day.
Also maybe some could go to the lower income families who are struggling to make ends meet.
I can’t wait to see the two babies who wil have changed so many lives!

I am a Jen Aniston, and I am not a crazy loon. That said, I think the babies are adorable. I wish them a long, healthy, happy life.
To “jaye” — someone finally gets it. There is no feud between the Jolie-Pitts and Aniston. It is created by the tabloids and demented fans of both sides. I doubt the JP’s and JA would like to see the sick, twisted comments being made about each other.
AJ is beautiful; Jen is beautiful; Brad is beautiful. They live their lives the way they want. It is none of our business. If you are a fan–follow their careers. If you are not–move on.
