That picture does not look like John’s brother from what we can see and if it is then you are not who you are posing to be. I appreciate Jennifer and all of the above mentioned celebrities giving their time to cause of cancer research. Four women in my family have been diagnosed with breast cancer in the last two years and my 35 year old cousin died last Thanksgiving leaving young children behind. Two of my closest friends have also been diagnosed with breast cancer.

So I say…good for the celebrities who care and good for us. It’s a refreshing change from so much focus on any issues but American issues. We have poverty, hunger, AIDS and other public health crises…. and children who need parents and families… here in our country too. In fact, I think the most neglected problem we have in America is the thousands of older children in foster care who desperately want to be adopted.

I never liked or disliked J. Aniston, but now I feel sorry for her. As an actress she’s adequate, but as a psychological study she’s interesting. Most of the time she looks hunted. I don’t think she’s really happy. Before a nut jumps off the wagon, i said THINK which indicates it’s my opinion. Consider what she has to deal with

1. A so-so career- she going to get too old to play rom-coms She’s almost 40 and is still not thought of as a serious actress which is what she wanted.
2. A string of boyfriends who are unsuitable. She might question Why she is choosing the type of men that she has in the last few years.
3. A lack of emotional stability I think she’s afraid to love again.
4.Some people think she is superficial, maybe she doesn’t know how to be anything else. There is nothing in her life that keeps her grounded.
5. The emotional baggage of a mom that verbally abused her; calling her ugly all of her life. She still has an iffy relationship with her mom.
6. Questionable relationships with other members of her family
7. severe public scrutiny
8. a divorce that she CAN’T get over because it’s always in her face.
Divorce is hard enough to deal with without it being regurgitated
daily.
9. Fear of motherhood. I do believe this is the main reason she hasn’t gotten PG. Her mom did a number on her psychologically. Her career is the only thing she has to hold on to.
10. She’s still angry- Maybe more at herself. I think she realizes now she ignored her personal life for the sake of a career. Time and tide waits for no man or woman as the case may be.
11. She’s following John around like someone who’s desperate. She didn’t do that with her husband. She didn’t do that with her other boyfriends. Now I think she’s feeling her age. 40 is a major milestone for women. They look back and say, “what have I done with my life’. She might hear silence when she asks that question.
12. She has an inferiority complex. I don’t think she ever got over her childhood problems. The outward appearance doesn’t heal what’s inside.

This is MY opinion based on what she has done with her life and the general psychology of divorce and estrangement from family members. It’s almost like she doesn’t know what to do with herself. If anyone thinks money is going to keep them warm at night, they’re living in la la land. I’d like to see her happy. I won’t lose sleep over it , but everyone deserves that.

She said years ago she did want to have children but by dating a much younger man who seem nowhere near ready to settle down and have a family speak volumes. Just a thread prior to this one some of you were saying how selfish this woman is, because she doesn’t do charity. But whenever she does something (which ,btw, is not a rare event) you just can’t recognize it. You don’t think that she’s doing it for a good cause. Props to Angelina!! That way she gets it all doesn’t she? She helps other people and also gets the recognition for it. But you see…the thing about altruism is that you help others without wanting something back (recognition, props, publicity, whatever…). Some celebrities donate their money to charity and request that their names are not publicized. And let’s make that clear: i’m not saying JA is one of them. I’m just saying she could be. I’ve heard of some donations she has done in the past (including something on mexico, she was still married at the time. She was always involved with St. Jude,even before BP, and the lili claire foundation…). In a few posts above there are some of the causes she was/is involved with, some i rebember, some i don’t. She simply made the decision of not making a big deal about those things, like many do. And there’s nothing wrong with that. That does not make her a bad person.
And by the way, lets be honest, if one day some magazine reports that JA donated millions to some charity, the majority of you would still say this: She did it for publicity!! …so..she can’t win, can she?…
Now…i can’t prove the critics wrong. But they can’t prove themselves right either…
And finally, regarding the “sick mother” story, which i thought was over, this was published on a tabloid (Star, Globe, whatever..) on the period right after JA gave the Vanity Fair interview (2001) in which she talks about her relationship with her mother. So this was most likely just the tabs trying to make some interesting drama out of it. No , i can’t prove it, i don’t work at the tabloids. But it sure makes sense.

I appreciate Jennifer and all of the above mentioned celebrities giving their time to cause of cancer research. Four women in my family have been diagnosed with breast cancer in the last two years and my 35 year old cousin died last Thanksgiving leaving young children behind. Two of my closest friends have also been diagnosed with breast cancer.

So I say…good for the celebrities who care and good for us. It’s a refreshing change from so much focus on any issues but American issues. We have poverty, hunger, AIDS and other public health crises…. and children who need parents and families… here in our country too. In fact, I think the most neglected problem we have in America is the thousands of older children in foster care who desperately want to be adopted.
