Shia LaBeouf: It Wasn’t Me!

Shia LaBeouf was found not at fault for his Sunday car crash despite being cited for a DUI.

“The other car ran a red light and, if not already, they will be cited,” said Sheriff Steve Whitemore. “They will now be listed as Party One on the report, indicating they were at fault.”

Yesterday, Shia’s mom Shayna indicated that Shia was “fine” when she went to visit him at the hospital.

WILL YOU HYPOCRITES SHUT UP! geez, he’s not a lindsey, paris, or a britney. all you people like to do is make more of those 3 i just mentioned, just because he`s rich and famous, SO what he made a mistake stop blaming him. it was the other person’s fault, yes he drove drunk, it’s not like you guys are angels, i’m sure you drink and drive. oh, i’m sure you idiots probably use your cell phones and text while driving too, well then don’t you think you guys should be arrested too even if it’s not your fault…HA, that’s what i thought. GROW UP, people and GET OVER IT!

btw, number 21# i’m sorry about your neighbors, but you know what you have get over it and you can’t say that about people no matter how tragic it was. just let go and if your saying that , that means you want a lot of people to die, that’s just sick and harsh to the extreme. “an eye for an eye makes the world blind.” violence never resolves anything, especially if someone didn’t even cause the accident and is driving under the influence.

i agree w/ number 6# and 16#.

Shia is still a good person and I’m still a huge fan. He wasn’t at fault for the accident…PERIOD. Yeah, he might of have had a drink but he wasn’t DRUNK and wasn’t the one who ran a red light and slammed into someone else. It’s never ok to drive drunk but no one knows all the facts. I’m just saying as an example having one drink could cause someones BAC to be under the legal limit and not cause driving impairment but still be charged . I just don’t think he was drunk while driving, I don’t believe it. To me, there is a difference between DUI and DWI
_______
Sorry, a DUI= Drunk and the saw isn’t determined by you, thank goodness, so it doesn’t matter whatever imaginary differences and terms you’re coming up with

Sorry, no one’s going to condone drunk driving simply because you’re assuming “everybody” does it. So everyone sleeps around, everyone does drugs, and everyone does whatever silly irresponsible things you’re imagining because you’re a delusional fan. People are simply saying he was being irresponsible, and if he had killed someone, I wonder what your a** would be saying then. I really wonder what age you are. Maybe too young to know anyone who’s lost someone to drunk driving.

All we hope is that he gets help. Everyone -does- make mistakes, but you can’t downplay the LEVEL of this one. He could have killed someone else if perhaps he hadn’t gotten in his fender bender and had continued down the road. This is a mistake that effects others and can be a mistake that cannot be taken back.

my next door neighbor was killed by a drunk driver on the street. he had three kids all under the age of 10 who are now orphans and living with their grandmother.

drunk drivers need to be given the death penalty even if they haven’t killed anyone. or if they are caught, they should be shot in the head by the arresting officer.

i’m not directing it towards you or anyone else, just for those who hate him! they’re probably doing the same thing, as he is, maybe worse, i said MAYBE. i’m not a delusional fan, in general society people probably do those type of things, most people i know his age or around his age have done those things and still do. i’m not saying “everyone does it”, i was just disappointed at that fact that no one has sympathy, that he needs help. he may have a mental disorder since he’s a binge drinker, that’s sad if he does. i had a family member who almost killed me, but he had a mental disorder since birth, so i should hate him too, no because he’s getting help in a hospital right now. maybe shia should do the same. he should definitely go to AA. you know what i don’t you, but i did not use foul language, so keep your curse words to yourself. you know what if he killed someone, that would definitely mean has some sort of psychological disorder and i still wouldn’t hate him, if he did i’m sure he would surrender himself to prison. have you ever heard about people in real life who did murder people, but changed? for example, tookie williams he was a guy who encourage gang bangers to stop messing up their lifes, he wrote a book about it. if that was the case for shia, i would want him to go to prison not die, maybe in prison he can tell people not to drink and drive, if he has a heart. which he does.
it does not matter what age i am, maybe you’re an adult, i’m not, so what? fyi, i do know someone who has, i know how it is, but that person has a right to change don’t they? AND IT WASN’T ALL OF HIS FAULT, IT’S THE OTHER PERSON WHO RAN THE RED LIGHT! btw, what if you knew someone that drinks and drives, that almost killed someone and maybe it can be anyone close to you, what would you do? end of discussion, i’m not even wasting my time and you know what try to be nicer to those who do disagree with you.

I guess that’s why at the time they told him to flee the scene.

Hope he’s fine… I still think we can’t judge him, first because we don’t know if he was much intoxicated, he could have some drinks and still be able do drive… I don’t believe that Isabel Lucas would allow him to drive if he wasn’t fine.

[☆I n F a m o u s☆] @ 07/30/2008 at 9:03 am

he wasn’t drunk - it wasn’t his fault - he’s fine in my book.

it’s still the summer of shia. lmaoo

Drinking and driving is illegal folks
even if it was not his fault. his DUI count still stands

You People Are DIM @ 07/30/2008 at 11:46 am

The DUI charge stands people… unless his toxicology results from the hospital come back WAY under the legal limit.. the DUI stands. He was not given a breath analyzer on seen the cops said they thought he was drunk. Witness said they would have never known he was drunk .. that he acted like he was in shock.. you know having been in a HUGE F150 quad cab that got hit broadside and rolled twice in the middle of an intersection, having hit his head and crushed his hand..so it all comes down to the toxicology report for his BAC.

BUT he was found NOT at fault for the accident.. meaning anyone that night regardless of if they had had a drink or not making a legal left turn in that intersection at that moment would have been nailed broadside by the BMW that ran a solid red light.. even your momma!!

BUT that has nothing to do with the misdemeanor DUI he was charged for.. that STANDS.

It just means that the driver of the other car cannot sue him since he was the idiot that caused the accident. And that the injuries caused at the scene cannot be added on to the DUI charge.

Do you people have no capability of reading comprehension? No understanding of the law? Educate yourselves please before you make asses of yourselves spouting nonsense.

Whether or not he was at fault in the accident, he was driving drunk. Not good. Hope he’s learned a lesson, it COULD have been his fault, and he could have been killed or killed someone else.

Here you go, perfect example how in hollywood you can do whatever you want.

A friend of mine sometime back killed two people in an autmobile accident when the truck he was driving ran over a couple riding an “dirtbike” on the roadways. Not only are dirtbikes illegal to be driven on the roadways here, but also everyone was intoxicated.

However since my buddy was drunk, it was ruled that he never should of been on the road, regardless if the dirtbike was permitted itself. So he had to go through the courts because he was intoxicated at the time the accident occured. If this accident would of been who was at fault, obviously the dirtbike riders would of been at fault as dirtbikes aren’t allowed on the roads to begin with.

So when your son or daughter is killed by a hollywooder, you know what to expect from the courts, you’ll be getting railroaded.

shia i loooooooove u i think that you are in good way dont think about what people are saying okk……..

PEOPLE why do you guys even care ??? you dont have a say in what hes charged apparently people see this issue two ways!!! let it go he was driving drunk but the other guy ran a red light if he wasnt drunk the other guy would have still ran a f’ing red light.

Im sorry for your friend dying but seriously you want people dying because they had one glass too much and a party or maybe even two just because you lost someone you think its fair to kill of people?? what if the person your killing has a familly too?

I bet he wasnt drunk. Im a paramedic and when I first started hearing reports of this it sounded weird. When I found out that they never did a breathalyzer and I heard he hit his head I starting wondering if he wasnt drunk. This only confirms it to me. Cops often mistake medical conditions like blunt force trauma to the head or diabetic shock for drunkness cause there not trained to tell the difference. You have to understand that the same amount of force that broke his hand also went to his head. I also saw a witness on access hollywood say that he didnt look drunk and he was helping other people after the accident, not a sign of drunkness. If he did drink I bet it was like 1 beer or something and the cops mistook the smell and his behavior for drunk. TRUST ME IT HAPPENS ALL THE TIME. People actually die in jail becasue they got arrested 4 drunk driving but where just in diabetic shock.
Lets wait and see but I bet its not all it was made out to be.

Sorry, it was reported on CNN and he is receiving a misdemeanor nevertheless for the DUI. Get over it, he was drunk.

Okay I read the first half, and I don’t hate him at all, and get over the “foul language;” you’re on the net, and the world isn’t all pink and green, everyone’s sweet, where no one dies and everyone goes to Church on Sunday.

The rest was pretty much superfluous, but you made a lot more sense and get 5 brownie points.

What’s really sad is that if he wasn’t drunk you won’t here a damn thing about it. You may see a small posting on just jared or something like that but all the magazines that are frantic to put stories in about him being drunk and all that won’t do the same when they find out it wasn’t all they thought. Why? Cause then their admitting their “sources” are non-existent and they make up stories without hard facts. And this kid i and his career are the ones who pay the price.

LuckyL how old are you? It was reported on CNN therefore they cant find out new information later? Is CNN omniscient? They can’t charge people and then revoke a charge later cause CNN stated he currently has a DUI charge? Live a little longer and you’ll find circumstances change everyday. What Im saying is in my medical opinion wait tell he goes to court cause mistakes happen all the time. And to be honest even if he was drunk if he has a lawyer that’s worth his salt he could easily get the charge thrown out becasue the doubts the medical issues put around it. And apparently it was amateur night for the cops not to get an breathalyzer analysis on a celebrity.
