Brad Pitt is Lieut. Aldo Raine
Brad Pitt in one step closer to playing Lieut. Aldo Raine in Quentin Tarantino’s uberviolent WWII project Inglorious Bastards.
Reps for the 44-year-old actor confirmed to EW that Brad is currently in negotiations to star in the Universal Pictures flick. It’s also been said that Tarantino is NOT interested in Leonardo DiCaprio playing the role of Col. Hans Landa.
As reported a few weeks ago, Inglorious Bastards will shoot this fall in Germany and also in France, where Brad, partner Angelina Jolie, and their six kids have been residing.
In late August, Mr. Pitt and pal George Clooney are expected to open the 65th annual Venice Film Festival and promote their new flick, the Coen Brothers’ Burn After Reading.

We are really being baited to trash Will Smith, Christian Bale, etc etc, but especially Will Smith. We should not fall into the trap and just ignore those who keep bringing other actors up, expecting us to trash them in our zeal to defend Brad/Angelina.

Whilst I agree that some fans get baited, I also think that quite often, its the LOSIES either changing names or whatever who come and “defend” Brad’s record. So, look at the names and see if its a legitimate regular.

#245: Angie may not have movies to promote but Brad does. They also have projects that may require their presence to launch. Where there is Brad, there is also Angie…we will not be shortchanged. There are also the award presentations…Brad or Angie nominated for something will mean more red carpet appearances. Changeling and BB will get noticed….they need this couple to fire up the interest of the viewers and raise the ratings for their shows.
