Brad Pitt is Lieut. Aldo Raine
Brad Pitt in one step closer to playing Lieut. Aldo Raine in Quentin Tarantino’s uberviolent WWII project Inglorious Bastards.
Reps for the 44-year-old actor confirmed to EW that Brad is currently in negotiations to star in the Universal Pictures flick. It’s also been said that Tarantino is NOT interested in Leonardo DiCaprio playing the role of Col. Hans Landa.
As reported a few weeks ago, Inglorious Bastards will shoot this fall in Germany and also in France, where Brad, partner Angelina Jolie, and their six kids have been residing.
In late August, Mr. Pitt and pal George Clooney are expected to open the 65th annual Venice Film Festival and promote their new flick, the Coen Brothers’ Burn After Reading.

I was going to mention this. The new Lifeless & Styleless said Hello had gotten the UK writes to the pix of the twins…but didn’t say squat about the US rights! ROTFLMAO! Now why would anyone in this country care who’s publishing the pix in the UK? All we care about is the good old U. S. of A. I really find it tacky of them not to give a shout out to Peeps. Color me shocked…
Now the question is - how much did Hello pay for the rights? If Peeps plopped down up to $15MIL, Hello probably paid at least $10MIL just to outbid OK

i couldn’t agree more. when she said in an interview that she told george clooney that she wasn’t lindsey’s mom but her publicist, i started to feel very sorry for her children. their dad doesn’t seem much better.

You completely missed my point, troll. Yes, the MALE CHARACTERS are edgy and dark and have layers. Well, except for The Joker, there’s only one layer there - crazy. The female characters? NOT. Get real. You could have put cardboard standouts in all the spots women were standing in these 2 Nolan Batman films. That’s how much “depth” they had. They were worse than the stereotypical love interest. The sole purpose of Rachel in these movies was to make Bruce Wayne look like he had a vulnerability other than his moral code. That’s not a character, that’s a plot point.
Bottom line - I’m not convinced Nolan can write or direct females. THAT was my point. You don’t agree and that’s fine. Actually it’s more than fine. It’s in the “I don’t give a shite.” category…

At the end of the day, film making is a business and every dollar counts. Films are made to be seen. At the very least, a producer should be able to recoup its investment. Otherwise, Hollywood would go bankrupt, will stop making films and all those arty good films that you cherish will be gone … gone with the wind.
