Lauren Conrad gives us the most intimate look ever at TV’s superficial (and sensational) reality hit thanks to Entertainment Weekly.
“Every season, I think it’s the last,” the 22-year-old star from The Hills admits. “Right now, I think this is the last season. I go through phases when I’ve been filming where I wake up in the middle of the night and I think I’m being filmed. That’s when I have to take a vacation.” (Lauren’s nightmare served as inspiration for the cover photo.)
Executive producer Adam DiVello says he can see the show going at least one more season, but ideally, ”I’d love to stay with it until Lauren gets married.”
DiVello also talked about the We’ll get our shots, then you’ll get yours alliance the show has with the paparazzi: “We’ll be filming at a restaurant and it will be us at a table, three cameras, and then a row of photographers behind the cameras. We don’t want to [shoot] in the back of a restaurant so people can’t see us. You want them on the patios. The paparazzi really work with us. They stay behind the cameras.”
FYI: Costarring couple Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt declined to be interviewed for this story once they learned Lauren was on the cover.

Heidi and Spencer really need to get over themselves.
The cover looks great. I’m glad Heidi and Spencer declined, I wouldn’t have read it if their comments were included. They’re a piece of trash.
I wouldn’t think Heidi and Spencer would decline, they love attention. But I love The Hills.

Who gives a crap if those two supporting d-listers did not participate! I consider that a gift. I think it’s been universally decided that no one cares what they think anyway. They need to be thanking God for Lauren (since they’re both soooo religious) that they even have a profile in this industry.

Lauren looks pretty on the cover!. She is gorgeous. Just curious, I saw her hot pics on a million iare da ting site called ‘Ric h ki ss. c om’. Was it her? I’m not sure. Charlie sheen said he found great dates there before. Maybe the celebs like that special site.

14th!!!!! It’s OK Number # 2, I believe you. YOU WERE FIRST.!!!!!!!!!!!!! Lauren does look pretty on that cover, so I hope she is not airbrushed or anything. At times in other interviews though, she appeared somewhat arrogant, and I hope she is over that. I will read the article and judge.

Shouldn’t Entertainment Weekly covers be for actors and actresses? This chick is on some cheesy “reality” show. Maybe she’s a bad actress, but it’s supposed to be “real life”.
Why people watch this garbage is beyond me. Is your own life and are your own friends not good enough?? Because you’re basically just watching some random persons life on this show. Big deal.
I really don’t get it, it’s both boring and annoying at the same time.. because it keeps getting shoved in my face via TV and Magazines.
