Rachel Bilson Loves Martin Margiela
Rachel Bilson rocks out her favorite open toe ankle boots by Martin Margiela while visiting a production office in Culver City, Calif., on Wednesday afternoon. (She paired the same boots back in May with a dress.)
The 26-year-old former O.C. starlet then met female friend on 3rd Street in West Hollywood to shop at the Milk boutique.
Her friend left carrying several bags but Rachel left empty-handed!

I saw her at the Rogan event at Barneys when she was wearing those boots w/ a dress & she looked really cute. I think she can pull them off. The way she is wearing her jeans is the new trend. I don’t know what I think about it but the Current-Elliot jeans like that are selling out everywhere.

I think she’s NO different from Mischa Barton (sans only the DUI). Both of them have these all-hype fashion line, no acting career to speak of and does lives & breaths for the media every now & then just to keep them relevant. S U C K S !

Of Course. Why else would anyone want to live there? The place sucks as a community. It artificial and is only useful for doing business. Connections and paychecks is what Hollywood is all about. So what’s your point? Would you turn down the kind of paychecks she gets?

If you think about the OC. Most people would think of Mischa Barton or simply put MB WAS The O.C.! She got famous worldwide because of her role on that show (right before she went downward spiral). If you ask people who they think of first when you mention The O.C., they’ll say “Mischa Barton”, her other co-stars are just “sidekicks”. The End.

Actually MOST of her “immediate family members” are well-connected in the biz. She is where she is solely due to some damn “luck”; and her high-places friends (those OC people in particular) had just added more like just to put some spice on her supposed-to-be acting career. So NO real sweats coming from her. And about paycheks, its not that far-fetched to think that she actually “issues” them every once in while. Dont be that “naive”!

It’s “just” the TCA not the Emmys nor even the Golden Globe. TCA is just about anything (infamously) popular by now when current media darlings reach their sell-by-date just as soon as newer, fresher faces arrive to fickle the fickled teens & tweens fancy. But in terms of acting prowess & longevity in the biz, its absolutely lacking in legit credibility.

At least Rachel’s done The Last Kiss, Jumper and the 2 episodes on Chuck and she has New York, I Love You coming up. And Adam Brody did In The Land of Women and Jennifer’s Body. The best thing Mischa’s done is her 5 minute part in St Trinians and her new bag collection.

Why does Natalie Portman always get dragged into this? At least Natalie is relevant, has talent, works to hone her craft and does humanitarian work. People are wising up about Bilson, she’s a talent-less hack that wouldn’t have the pathetic resume she does have if it weren’t for her family connections, and she wouldn’t have the paps all up in her business if it weren’t for her pimping her sham “relationship” with Hayden. How do you think she got the part in NYILU? Because of Hayden. I think Hayden is a good actor, but personally, I hope their segment of that movie gets left on the cutting room floor.
Those are the ugliest shoes I have ever seen on anyone, ever, in the history of shoes. Nobody could pull those off, they are just terribly fugly. But look at all these posts on JJ about the ugly shoes. Almost as many as the ones about the fugly dress she wore at the Costume Institute gala. You can tell the girl has no talent and no prospects if she’s reduced to wearing ugly shoes in order to get attention.

No. What is contemptible is the celebrity that is afforded to the useless like Bilson. She is completely irrelevant, contributes nothing to society except for the purchases she makes every single day of her life, and can’t even get a job unless some friend of her family hands it to her because she is completely without talent. Not everyone is jealous of Rachel. Some just find her pathetic antics amusing. If you can’t handle others not liking someone else, my only advice to you is either get over it or look up “therapist” up in the yellow pages because you might (not saying for sure that you do) have some major issues. People are entitled to like or dislike whomever they wish to and are entitled to voice that said opinion. If you don’t like it, just don’t read it. Edgy and different is not the same thing as aesthetically not pleasing. Those stupid shoes make her look like she has odd feet, like her feet have suddenly become hoves with toes grafted on to them.
This girl has the right to make a living doing something honorable, be respected for a contributing member of society and given the opportunity to live up to her potential. All it looks like is that she’s doing is nothing. Other people are designing, marketing and sewing her clothing line, she can’t act but calls herself an actress, and has dragged two good men into the gutter inside two years. I can’t respect that.

I’m sure that the people who are designing, marketing, and sewing Rachel’s clothing line are grateful that she was willing to lend her name to the line and provide them with work that they wouldn’t have otherwise had in the industry.
