All grown up!
Actress Dakota Fanning arrives at the Hollywood Foreign Press Association’s annual summer luncheon held at the Beverly Hills Hotel on Wednesday in Beverly Hills.
The Charlotte’s Web actress is now 14 and enterting 10th grade! Dakota broke through at the age of 7 with her performance in I Am Sam. She also had an impressive performance in War of the Worlds where director Steven Spielberg praised her ability to show “how she would really react in a real situation.”
Dakota recently recalled receiving the award for Best Young Actor/Actress from the Broadcast Film Critics Association and needed Orlando Bloom to lift her up to the mic! Ms. Fanning told Pop Tarts, “I met him again later on the set of War of the Worlds and we talked and had a laugh about it. It was funny, but I’m actually a bit embarrassed thinking about it now.”

my aren’t we being shallow today. instead of focusing on the what’s good about the little girl “we” have to focus on what you consider to be imperfections let me guess, you want her to go and get her teeth fixed so that they won’t personally offend you.
She always had a head start. she learned how to read at age 2 and went to the first grade at 4. So she is just verry smart.
So 10th grade is because she started soon.

I CANNOT believe she is 14, same age as ali lohan. She looks more like a 14 yr old than Ali.
See, the reason why everyone thinks she looks younger than 14 is because the average 14 year old is trying to look 16, 18, 20, etc. With all the push up bras and makeup and short skirts, etc.
I like her. I think she’s adorable and I wish more girls wanted to look cute like her instead of ’sexy’ like Paris Hilton or Rihanna (before the mug cut. Ew.)
i dont understand this. taylor momsen, selena gomez, miley, demi lovato, they are all her age or 15. she still looks the same as when she 1st appeared in movies years ago. its wierd to me. the post above is of a barley 16 year old selena looking much more mature…
she looks great for her age and that’s great for young hollywood and the fact that she has alot of talent to backup anyting she does later on compared to the crap so-called actors nowadays
I just need to agree with those of you who say that this is what a 14 yr old SHOULD look like. NOT like Ali Lohan..that is just disturbing that Ali already looks and acts like a little hooker!

why isn’t eveyone telling her to fix her eyebrows at 14 years old? Hers need a tweezer.
Other girls at age eleven (don’t wanna say names) are being called names here in JJ because their eyebrows are thick and dark. Why is it?
(btw I really love how DF looks here. Not because she works in HW and is successful means she has to grow up quickly and have plastic surgery ASP, she has talent and does not need to do that).

49th!!!! I agree with Number # 19. She is adorable also, and is growing up way to fast in Hollywood. I’m sure they love that though. Here is hoping someone is watching out for her, unlike Lindsays parents and the Spears parents. x
