Rachel Bilson tries to hail a cab on the streets and then walks to restaurant “There’s No Place Like Home” in Los Angeles on Thursday.
The 26-year-old O.C. actress then went vintage clothes shopping at “Squaresville” on N Vermont Ave with her female friend.
RB rocked out her favorite pair of her Martin Margiela open toe ankle boots while walking around in Culver City.

RB is the celeb equivalent of cotton candy fluff, completely lacking substance & intellect. Fairly irrelevant with the depth of a kiddie pool. She is of mediocre talent but has survived due to her moneyed showbiz family & the marketing skills of her dozen PR gurus. How can someone get so much media mileage out of a supporting role on an abruptly axed teen show? Her days as a supposed “IT” girl are clock-ticking already w/ the arrivals of the newer & better looking stud & tarts from Gossip Girl, those Disney talents and/or the incoming BH 9210. Hopefully, she’ll take her cliché clothing line, get a horse and ride into the sunset… SOON.

I really like Rachel. She is up there with Kristin Bell and Alexis Bledel in my book as a quality starlet, because in addition to being cute, she is bright and has a winning personality, which is not something you can say for every starlet of the moment. I think she will have a longer career than some.

@58, most men can appreciate a range of types in women. A woman can look amazingly hot, smoking hot, but as soon as she opens her mouth be a complete turn off. RB sounds like she doesn’t have a brain in her head also she’s snotty and shallow, uninterested in anything but herself. No guy wants that for very long. RB is at best a one night stand.
I’m sorry but I can’t agree. Perhaps Rachel had poor performances at school, but it doesn’t make her a stupid person. Cleverness and school results are 2 different things. We all have seen people, who were zero in high school, succeed in university or real life. She seems to be resourceful in everyday life and earns easily a lot of money. She’s lucky, but she knows how to use this luck, like she uses paps and her BFF (Best Fake Friend).
Anyway, it’s presumptuous to judge a person on interviews.
For men, many of them prefer a woman who seems less clever than them and needs them.

Unfortunately that is true. Many men don’t get that it’s better and means something much deeper and special when they have a highly intelligent woman who doesn’t need them WANT them around. “Needing” a man around isn’t all that it’s cracked up to be because the woman doesn’t necessarily truly love them for them but for what they can do for them. Those women only stick around because they have to not because they want to. It’s the breeding ground for trouble and heartache and just a vicious cycle. It’s something much more profound when a woman can take care of herself and has the brains to hold her own with anyone, a truly independent woman, to want to be with a guy. But….there’s much more to life than luck. Luck runs out a lot more quickly than anyone thinks. Rachel doesn’t have that knowhow and that intelligence to wither that storm. She’s relying on luck and let’s be honest. Her luck is beginning to run out.
@60, some people are too intelligent to do well in school. School holds them back; the best thing you can do for them is let them go and get out of their way. Ewan McGregor is one of these, was allowed to leave school at 16 and immediately proved he was a stellar acting talent. He’s a highy intelligent man. RB is obviously not an acting talent, her design work is boring and meant for adolescents not adult women (an indication of mediocre talent), and yes she’s clever. Clever like a animal trapping for its dinner, and only in that way. And excuse me, but unless you know RB personally and can speak for what she’s really like, all any of us know about her is from interviews and her work. Both give a piss poor impression. Yes, men like to be needed but it gets old when the woman is so dependant she can’t do anything for herself. RB is exactly this type, without skills or education or talent to get ahead in the world and must cling to some man to survive. BAD NEWS for any man, and poor example for young girls to follow.
My comment was directed toward those who said Rachel was ugly. Let me assure you, she’s is anything but ugly. Every guy I know can attest to that. I have no idea how intelligent she is. Don’t really care. I’m never going to meet her.

Like you, I only read interviews, but I can have a different opinion about her. I think she was good in The O.C.
I’m not presumptuous enough to judge her intellectual capacities with or without encounter or interviews. She seems to know how to use paps and men, so she wouldn’t be totally stupid, but I can be wrong.
I just look at what the media show us about what appears to be her actions, I don’t pretend to know her intentions or what she can do.
You wrote that you have an “impression” but you can see “exactly” what kind of woman she is??? lol, let down your crystal ball.

But, you shouldn’t be going off on someone who was stating something that wasn’t even what you were talking about and not really even caring about it.
