Bond actor Daniel Craig and his girlfriend Satsuki Mitchell fish around their wallets to pay the valet after a shopping at Saks Fifth Avene in Beverly Hills, Calif., on Thursday afternoon.
Later in the day, Craig, 40, and Mitchell, attended the L.A. premiere of Paramount Pictures’ Pineapple Express.
Actress Michelle Yeoh, who co-starred with Pierce Brosnan in Tomorrow Never Dies, recently expressed her love for Daniel Craig. She said, “I love, love, love Craig. I’m the biggest fan of the Bond series and they’ve taken it to a new level with Daniel. It’s more gritty, more down and dirty.”

so in the event of a divorce say, depending on a pre nup, she will have monetary rights in the US as well as the UK? I have someone in the same position thats why I would like to know.
Again it will depend on primary residence and where they file for divorce. If filed in the UK then UK laws govern if they file in the US then US law governs
all i know is that i hope daniel has a killer pre nup agreement. that way if they get divorced daniel gets to protect his assets

“The Bond actor is said to have pledged to wed his American girlfriend Satuski Mitchell once he has finished work on the latest film in the franchise, Quantum of Solace.
The film, due to be released in October, is currently in post-production.
The 40-year-old was said to have placed a ’substantial order’ for bottles of Bollinger at the off-licence in Marylebone, central London.
The manager of the store said Craig was a regular customer and had been taking advantage of a special offer on champagne.
“Six bottles for the price of five,” she added.
The actor and Miss Mitchell, a movie producer, have not confirmed their engagement, but the 29-year-old has been pictured wearing a large diamond solitaire ring.
In 1992, Craig married the Scottish actress Fiona Loudon, with whom he has a daughter, Ella.
After his divorce two years later, he had a seven-year relationship with German actress Heike Makatsch.
The filming of Quantum of Solace, the 22nd Bond movie, has been beset with accidents.
In June, Craig sliced the top of one of his fingers off while on set.
There was also a fire at one of the sets in Pinewood Studios, a car crash that left the stunt driver in a serious condition, and another acident involving an Aston Martin skidding off the road and plunging into Lake Garda”

So here how it went down:
He pops into his regular Oddbins to buy a few things, as you do, and the manager says, “Hey Mr Craig, we have a special on Bollinger but you have to place an order now to get the offer”
Craig thinks for a second then goes “Ok let me stock up”, as you do.
The manager then says well for three boxes you’ll have to have a special order, it’ll take a couple of days.
So Craig comes back and the store owner tips off the paparazzi.

Now it could have been for a party or something else but I do the same all the time but not three boxes of Bollinger mind you.
I end up buying the special offer stuff that I dont like and I bring it to my friends houses.

i still think the Bollinger purchase is for a wedding party for those friends and family of daniel’s who were not able to attend the wedding in oregon. i mean satsuki’s family is supposedly in oregon so why not get married there. in other words, the marriage is a done deal.

If this woman were attractive, there wouldn’t be 135 comments about this. We would all get it and just move on.
But because she’s got an ugly mug, we don’t get it. It just doesn’t make sense.
I think Daniel is stuck in his view of himself. He was an ugly duckling earlier in life, and he still sees himself that way. He’s like the fat kid in high school — always sees himself as the fat kid and acts like it. Never rises to his potential because of it.
Daniel, get over your insecurities. You’re not the fat kid anymore. You’re not the ugly duckling. You can do so much better than this below average, mannish-looking girl. Yeah, maybe she’s nice, but c’mon…you’re a superstar. Find someone a bit more fitting, please.
And if not, please keep her off the red carpet. She’s dragging you down, man.

i agree satsuki is not the world’s most attractive woman. i think she’s rather ordinary. but it’s daniel’s opinion that matters here not ours.i’ve read interviews where he makes it clear he loves his sats. he apparently wants to marry the girl. as for keeping satsuki off the red carpet; i don’t think that is likely. daniel doesn’t think that she’s dragging him down. i have a feeling that she will be at his side on the Qos red carpets. where he is she, unfortunately or not, will be.
Face it — this is the movie business. Image is everything.
If he’s going to hook up with someone this unattractive, he needs to keep her off camera. For public events, bring in the stunt girlfriend.
you think satsuki is unattractive; that’s your opinion. but daniel doesn’t agree. and when you come right down to it his opinion is the only one that matters. daniel is not going to keep satsuki off camera nor is he going to have a “stunt” girlfriend with him on the red carpet just to make you happy. why should he?? daniel is in love with satsuki. he is obviously very happy with her and wants her with him. to put it bluntly; daniel doesn’t care what anyone thinks.
Of course he cares what people think. He’s an actor, for God’s sake. They all care what people think. And so do their handlers.
Watch her get sidelined this Bond film tour. She’s terrible for his image. Nobody wants to see a suave and chic James Bond with an ugly woman on his arm. She needs to go stand off the carpet like most non-celebrity significant others and spare his audience the pain. If he wants to sleep with an ugly woman, that’s his business, but the rest of us shouldn’t be bothered with it.
I agree hotstuff. I don’t think he loves his sats which makes me puke, it is more about his perceptiuon of himself. A great explanation because I just could never understand why he is with this FUG, I never bought the oh your jealous crap. I knew it was deeper than that for so many people to be appalled by her. I enjoyed reading your posts hotstuff and it makes alot of sense. I for one could never understand this couple being together as he could have anyone and this is his choice!? I always found hilarity when the media tries to sell her by calling her stunning or a 29 year old beauty for 3 years running,or a Bond girl. It just never seemed reasonable. I think I understand better now, even though they look like two guys together. and one is wearing a dress

when you say that nobody wants to see “wants to see a suave and chic James Bond with an ugly woman on his arm” you should qualify that. what you should have said is that you personally dont want to see satsuki on the arm of james bond. the same holds true for your statement that she should “stand off the carpet and “spare his audience the pain”. again what you should have have said is “spare me the pain”.
anyway, i doubt that daniel will be all that concerned with your personal feelings towards his girlfriend. he will not hide her away to make you happy. daniel is very proud of her and i have no doubt she will be on the red carpet whether you like it or not. if he does have her on his arm at ever y premiere you will, unfortunately, have to deal with it.

We’ve already seen less of her in the planned celeb photo ops. Now we mostly see her when the paps randomly catches them out somewhere.
Why the negativity towards her? That’s easy — she’s an ugly woman with a gorgeous man, and you hardly ever see that. It’s abnormal. It goes against human nature. There’s just something wrong there. You may not get that, but a lot of people do….hence the flurry of comments every time she appears in a photo with him.

think about it for a moment. since the filming of Qos ended Daniel has essentially been on holidays with satsuki. he spent time in LA and in Portland with her family and friends.so any photos taken of the two of them were taken by the press in what are normal everyday moments. just like the press gets photos of other celebrities doing what they do normally. so, of course, these photos were not planned.
as to the premiere of pineapple express; the two of them chose to go to a film that was just opening. they got photographed together; big deal. many celebrities go to the opening of films that they’re not in and get photographed goes with the territory.
as to the planned celeb photo ops; they won’t take place until the round of red carpet affairs for both Qos and Defiiance take place. and then, unfortunately for you, satsuki will be photographed at daniel’s side on the red carpet. you may not like it but since when does your personal opinion mean anything to daniel. and as for “ugly woman with a gorgeous man, and you hardly ever see that. It’s abnormal”. abnormal for whom? you perhaps. yes yes i know satsuki’s appearance offends you personally; but you don’t matter in this. as for it being abnormal, excuse me?? daniel finds her to be beautiful and physically attractive; get over it. if you can’t then you know what you don’t have to look at her.
I don’t know if I would call Daniel that good looking… Sexy, yes, but not “gorgeous” IMHO.
I think what’s so puzzling to me about Sats is she (with either her own or Daniel’s money) can afford a good stylist - so there should be no reason for such a dramatic swing in her appearance. I know that even celebrities and/or their significant others can have bad days/nights but it seem that sometimes I’m looking at two different women. She can be stunning with dress/makeup appropriate (FOAF premiere) and other times horrendous (GC premiere). Most of the time she’s a mixed bag - great clothes (bad or no makeup/hair) or great makeup/hair (bad clothes). I just wish she would look stunning in all the public appearances. Now the casual paparazzi shots I could care less - that’s her and Daniel’s private time.
But I think it’s just human nature to want to see “good-looking” people (read entertainment) together… my Mom always thought that Paul Newman could do better than Joanne Woodward. But hey, she made him happy…

If he was dating Serial Miller or Kate Moss then I suspect there would be more than 147 comments on here and whoever he’s with can’t win obviously.
They are together and that’s it, for what reasons, none of us will know. Love, companionship, neediness, convenience, business, a cover -up?
I respect the public forum and the views on here but in 100 years time, none of this will matter.

I would add another possible reason - I obviously don’t know Daniel (or Sats) personally, but just maybe she might be the one to put up with him… if you get my drift? Didn’t he have the “affair” with Miller while he was still seeing her? If that was the case, she took him back and has been there through the two Bond films (and other films) with him.
Of course, you can look at that three ways 1) she’s a good hearted forgiving person, 2) she’s a fool and should have dumped him for cheating on her, or 3) she needs him as much as he needs her for what Lou lover mentioned.
