James Franco Picks Pineapple Express
James Franco arrives for the premiere of the film Pineapple Express at the Mann Village Theatre in Los Angeles on Thursday.
Pineapple Express is an upcoming 2008 action-comedy film starring Seth Rogen and James Franco and is about their adventures when a drug deal goes bad trying to deal a new strain of weed called Pineapple Express.
Franco, 30, recently was interviewed by NYTimes.com/TMagazine about Pineapple Express, his development as an actor, and who he looked up to as role models.

James looks handsome. He’s a good actor. By the preview, Pineapple express looks funny and can’t wait to see him in that side of his personality in the movie.
That’s his girlfriend Ahna O’Reilly. She moved in his apartment (source: Star magazine). They’re cute together. She’s pretty. Some of you girls here are being mean to her, saying those things about her, just be nice. Maybe it’s because you’re jealous James is with her. They look happy and that is all that matters.
James doesn’t look like Heath at all like some of you said.
I like watching James movies, it’s fun, and he has a talent.
I hope he becomes successful in all he does in his life.
