Jennifer Garner: Team Barack Obama!
Expectant mommy Jennifer Garner and husband Ben Affleck leave a house inspection on their rumored new home in Brentwood, Los Angeles on Thursday.
Ben and Jen will join pal Matt Damon and his wife Luciana at a Generation Obama Fundraiser this Saturday, Aug. 2 in Miami Beach, Florida. General admission is $250/person while the VIP reception is $1,000/person.

Why do some people believe that celebrities do not have the right to support and/or endorse a particular candidate for any political office? Are they not citizens just like we are? They are not trying to tell you who you should vote for. The are raising funds and showing their support for the candidate of their choice. Isn’t this a free country?
To Carly #27 Ben and Jen do not and never have to my knowledge lived in Malibu and definitely do not live the Hollywierd lifestyle.

it’s really comical how much some of you read into pictures. Like, “Oh, she’s not smiling here that means she’s pretending to be annoyed by the paps.” Like the way somebody looks in pics is a surefire clue to their emotions and relationship status. If someone had selected certain pics from the final days of Aniston and PItt, people might have said, “Oh they’re so happy. Their relationship is fine.”
In this set, there could be other reason she’s not grinning from ear to ear, e.g., she’s walking on gravel and doesn’t want to trip.
Oh, here goes Adoring Fan, the self-appointed spokesperson for the Afflecks (like they need one). She’s probably also posting as STFU HATERS!!! so I know the meds aren’t working.
Then again, perhaps you just need a rabies treatment? I don’t know if rabies causes delusions about actually knowing something about celebs, though…

Im sure they are if they are going to his dinner. I think it is very important to encourage americans to read up on each side and vote for the candidate who means something to them. I do sometimes wonder though if Garner is doing the political thing b/c of her husband. Like the way she goes to baseball games for him. I didn’t really pay any attention to Jennifer until recently but I don’t remember hearing anything about her being politically active before she got with Ben. I wonder if it’s something that really is important to HER.
All the posters on this site that are spreading negative vibes to the family should be ASHAMED of yourself. They have a little, sweet, innocent baby on the way and should not endure any pressure or stress from anyone that is highly critical or just insecure. Just be happy for them and leave it at that. We have no clue on their lives and should not assume or speculate. Right?

Hard to say - just because a celeb doesn’t engage in politics publicly we don’t know what they’re doing behind the scenes. Maybe her politics have always been similar to Ben’s but she didn’t show it publicly.

As for the Obama endorsement I think is plain tacky for celebrities to show their support publicly because we know they are actors who know how to manipulate the media and the public.
