John Mayer looks pumped after receiving a special workout from celebrity personal trainer Harley Pasternak in Los Angeles on Thursday.
Earlier in the day, the 30-year-old musician went before Los Angeles city officials to ask for control measures to protect himself and other celebrities from paparazzi.
“I don’t sit before you today to ask that you ban the paparazzi,” John said in the hearing. “I’m asking you to regulate it, officialize it, tax it, legitimize it.”
He added, “I don’t want to beg the city of Los Angeles to give me 1987 back. I love being a famous musician in 2008… This is about safety.”
Mr. Mayer ended, saying, “”Regulating the paparazzi won’t bring an end to modern-day media coverage, just as the newly enforced hands-free law hasn’t stopped people from talking on cell phones while they drive.”
Actress girlfriend Jennifer Aniston must be so proud of her beau! Tear, tear.

He has a tattoo? never knew that. i really don’t give a s*hit about him or his true motivations but what he said is true whether or not he believes it. They need regulations. Paps should NOT be allowed to crowd cars, they shouldn’t be allowed to enter or loiter around stores and they should NOT be allowed at airports. There are actually other normal everyday people who happen to have to deal with the annoying paps every time a celeb is near that is pretty d*amn unfair, annoying & hazardous.

The guy that way sweet and funny and who honestly cared about his fans opinions and loved to play guitar. This new John Mayer is horrible. All he cares about is celebrity. His fans will be lucky if they ever see a new studio album. He’s too busy being Aniston’s beotch. The new hair cut and the testifying, she certainly has her new puppy trained.

Media Manipulation. That’s how he plans to win Hollywood. This is the topic he thinks will make all the other Hollywood stars like him and Old Jen. This two faced clown plays with the paps all the time.
He should learn to take everything into stride like Brad. Brad always, always stays calm and cool when swamed by paps. Remember Angie’s mum died and he personally walked over to all the pap cars asking them to give the family some privacy. He knows it’s part of the parcel but he hates when they get crazy when they are with the kids. Mayer aint even that famous!! Granted the paps are a pain but Mayer shouldn’t be the one advocating.
I wish Jen would dump him and choose some one else. All of this is going to turn on her. I feel he is not to be trusted.
