Jonas Brothers To Pick Up VMA For Best Pop Video?

The Jonas Brothers‘ music video “Burnin Up” has been nominated for 2008 Video Music Award’s “Best Pop Video”, sources confirm exclusively to JustJared.com.

The other nominees up for the golden moon man include Britney Spears‘ “Piece of Me,” Danity Kane’s “Damaged,” Tokio Hotel’s “Ready, Set, Go!”and Panic at the Disco’s “Nine in the Afternoon”. The announcement will be made on tonight’s live episode of FN MTV Premieres @ 8PM ET/PT along with the rest of the nominees for Best Hip Hop.

Kevin, 20, Joe, 18, and Nick, 15, will also be debuting the second single from their new album, A Little Bit Longer, during the VMAs, which will air live from Paramount Studios in Los Angeles on Sunday, September 7, 2008 @ 9PM (Live ET/Tape Delayed PT).

Even though they won’t win cause they’re new and no one knows who they are yet, i think tokio hotel’s song is easily the best of the 5 nominated songs.

I love Brit and the JoBros, but I’m going to say the JoBros deserve this one. Just because they’ve worked so hard wheras Britney’s just getting back on her feet. Maybe next year, Brit. I love them both no matter what, though.

hmm…if it’s judged on video quality, panic or tokio hotel. if it’s judged on voting, the jonas brothers or tokio hotel, just because those two bands are basically cults… personally, i’d like to see tokio hotel or panic win it.

the jonas brothers are cool. but i wud say britney should win. its an awesome song. britney should have won so many in the past 8 yrs but every year she gets screwed, even though she made mtv vmas popular whether good or bad. shes been wat nominated 20 + times?
