Mariah Carey Performs in Hollywood Heaven
Singer icon Mariah Carey performs live on the Jimmy Kimmel Live! show during a concert at Babylon Court at Hollywood and Highland on Thursday in Hollywood.
The 38-year-old wife of Nick Cannon, performed five songs and featured a guest appearance by rapper Young Jeezy. She also performed “Shake It Off”, “We Belong Together”, “I’m That Chic”k and “I’ll Be Lovin’ U/Touch My Body.” The mini-concert kicked off the 2008 Samsung AT&T Summer Krush tour which also includes Gavin Rossdale, LeAnn Rimes, Nelly, Smashing Pumpkins and Good Charlotte.

Oh people are just jealous. Some are jealous she married Nick. People are just cruel. Mariah had some emotional episodes and jealous people want her to stay down and depressed bc then their own lives don’t seem so bad. She’s a very attractive woman, surely looking better than most of the f-a-t-t-i-e-s on this site. I know that most of the minority women are overweight and obese - it’s just a fact and they are always jealous of other light-skinned black/biracial women who are successful, although Mariah made a name for herself all on her own because she worked hard and has talent. She’s an excellent singer. She’s still turning out some great music too. Calling her a ***** is plain evil because Mariah has never been the type of woman to sleep around like a lot of you do.

I agree with AMANDA Number # 10.. Wear some age appropriate clothes. She cannot be on the **** Clark band wagon forever.. I love her voice though.
She used to be a good singer. She is a good lipsyncher now. She doesn’t perform live 90% of the time. Excess and ridiculousness to the max.
She has wasted her talent and compromised her talent to sell some lousy records. She used to be so immaculate. Now she is nothing more than a cheap carnival freak show. What a waste.
who cares about MC’s choice of clothes? i think that’s a stupid reason to hate her music. and um adami you are completely wrong. MC’ was born with her great voice. that’s a god-given talent one doesn’t just lose unless she had an accident or something. I’ve never seen MC in concert and probably won’t, but she still sounds great on her cds and that’s what is important to me. i’ll keep buying her music, thank you very much. if MC loses your loyalty over her clothes or some public mishaps, good riddance. you’re not true fans anyway.
That was very nice of you to describe her as “Nick Cannon’s wife.” I’m just sick of reading garbage that describes a husband as Mr. . Give the poor guy a chance. It can’t be easy being in the spotlight and having your marriage scrutinized constantly.
I’ve noticed that Carey’s music of late is quite a bit more intricate and complex when compared to a lot of her older music. With Dupree, there is a lot of mixing, layering, her own background vocals, etc. I would think that the music and sounds would be difficult to duplicate and produce before a live audience, which may be why she doesn’t sing many of her songs live anymore.
People Mariah has been dressing like this for a long time. Just leave her alone, its not like she’s hurting anyone by dressing in the way she feels comfortable. Calling her names which you wouldn’t want anyone to call YOUR MOTHER is wrong. She really doesn’t have to dress her age. Mariah is 38 years old and that is NOT OLD AT ALL. She is still young. Mariah has the body to wear what she wants to wear, so STOP WAISTING YOUR TIME worry about what she wears. Mariah looks good for her age so STOP HATING. STOP GETTING UPSET, STOP CALLING NAMES, AND ETC. JUST LEAVE IT ALONE, BECAUSE YOUR WORDS HAVEN’T STOP HER FROM WEARING WHAT SHE WANTS TO WEAR YET.
