naomi and Dermott74, I could not have said it any better. Nikki fans have been BRUTAL to Vanessa since Sept. I just hope they eat a little humble pie now.

jeff, it’s been the Nikki fans who reveled in Vanessa’s pain. I’m just going to say here, what goes around, comes around. I’m not enjoying this, but it just proves how little we really know about what happened, and how people jump to conclusions about character, morals, etc.

I guess I’ll just say here, I’d rather be the victim of a picture scandal than be arrested for being an aggressive loud mouth an an airport for the world to see. Is that what we expect from this supposed “role model” ?? Let’s just hope this story is blown out of proportion. Because I actually like Nikki. But I just hated how her rabid fans treated Vanessa.

I’m really really shocked at this story, It’s the last thing I would have expected to read today!

There’s a lot of different opinions flying around here and I think it’s important that we keep things in perspective…

What Nikki and her father did was wrong, totally wrong, and no one can dispute that. It’s illegal, they’ve seriously injured someone and for what? Some ******* seats!! It’s totally ridiculous, they probably acted on impulse and let their emotions get the better of them which I’m sure they are totally regretting now.

Despite this, it’s not really our place to judge them, that’s up to the courts. I think the smartest thing Nikki and her father can do is to accept whatever punishment comes their way as far as the law is concerned and I think Nikki has to apologise to her young fans, and perhaps enroll in anger management classes or something.

I do hope and pray that everyone involved in this incident, particularly the lady in ICU, recover quickly, learn from it and move on.

On the subject of Vanessa being dragged into the argument, I can see why V fans are quick to mock Nikki and it’s understandable. Last September, Vanessa was subjected to the most vile, hateful, perverted, downgrading and offensive attacks - a good proportion of which were made by ‘Zikki’ supporters. And that’s pretty much an undisputable fact. However, Vanessa’s fans didn’t retaliate then and I don’t think they should now. To use this as an opportunity for payback is immature and just brings them down to the others level. I doubt Vanessa would be happy to know that her fans were subjecting another girl to the same hurtful comments that she experienced.

Rise above it, do the classy thing, do what Vanessa would do.

It also annoys me that people are comparing grevious bodily harm to Vanessa’s situation. Nikki is an adult who has deliberately caused serious harm to another human being over a petty issue. Vanessa was a child who took an innocent private photo of herself that someone idiot decided to show to the world, totally violating her! Vanessa was really the victim in that situation! Nikki is not the victim here.

Anyway that’s my take on this thing. I hope I’ve not offended anyone.

I am not particularly a fan of hers but I have always wished her the best. I don’t believe her weight should have any bearing in this thread and those who bring it up and make crude jokes are showing there is a lot lacking in you who say such things. Also, Zac and Vanessa were there a month ago and left most likely before she came. She is allowed to go to the Caribbean if that is where she wants to go and it doesn’t need to be pointed out that Zac and Vanessa were there before her. What does that have to do with anything in this situation?

My problem with Nikki has been her brash and forwardness as Naomi spoke of. When she was nominated for a Golden Globe she threw a table and later when asked about it she simply said she felt like it. Well, that doesn’t show much restraint. If she could do something like that in a situation like that, then it really isn’t surprising what she did in this situation after getting angry.

My biggest problem is with her dad. This is an adult male who SERIOUSLY harmed a woman. I understand there are women out there who really “ask for it” so to speak but I don’t care what she was saying or if she was throwing punches, this man should have walked away at that point. I find men who can hit a woman at all to usually be bullies and if he hit her so much she was seriously hurt and had to be airlifted to a hospital in Miami then that says a lot about this man’s personality and his lack of control. And by the way it was reported that this woman was not charged with ANYTHING so just how much did she do to take that beating?

#115 I agree with everything you said 100% Karen. However I want to add that it ppears people seem confused about what stalking is. If somebody vistis a place and returns home and then somebody accquainted with them vistis the same place a MONTH later that’s not stalking. Nor is it “copying” since countires like the Carribean that heavily depend on tourism want more then TWO people to visit. Really Zac and Vanessa should not have been brought into this at all.

Secondly I’m disturbed by the “LMAO” posts. There’s a woman in ICU and Nikki and her dad could possibly face actual jail time. Call me a wet blanket if you like but I see absolutely NO humor in this situation whatsoever.

Stop lumping all Nikki fan’s together I have never based Vanessa I have said I am not a fan but I have never bashed her. Nikki will get through this just as Vanessa got through her scandal. Just like everybody said about Vanessa she used poor judgement with taking the pics same can be said for Nikki poor judgement was used (then again we do not know the entire story). Nikki really is an amazing actress and I think she will have a lasting career (she hit one bump in the road) most people in hollywood have hit even worse bumps in the road and survived just fine.

Poor judgment perhaps just like Vanessa on actions but the situations of these 2 are entirely different and uncomparable. Nikki and her dad got involved in a brawl that seriously threatened the life of the other party. Be it poor judgment or lack of social ethics, Nikki’s situation right now is far severe and totally knocks her from the pedestal where her supporters seem to place her.

Her fans need to accept that they can go on defending her and taking her side but since no one except the parties involved don’t know also what exactly happened, quit knocking Bianca as well if you really want to play fair. Some remarks here are really uncalled for against Nikki but I also see most of her fans immediately putting Bianca as the “evil one” in their haste to pin the blame on the other to justify Nikki’s actions. Her fans ask to ease up on Nikki and give her understanding but they themselves cast the first stone on her enemy at every chance they get. That for me is hypocritical.
