Well, first off, this pics are beyond amazingly gorgeous. So, props to zac, vanessa, and ash for gracing elle with their gorgeousness and the makeup people for making them look even more awe-gazing. Second, i just got to say zac wearing his kuippo to this shoot speaks volumes about him as a person and a bf. It shows how important it is to him, and how important v is to him, because lately he hasn’t been wearing that thing too much or at all really. So i think to wear it to an intimate shoot like this was great and meaningful to him. I also loved the idea of all THREE of them doing it together, it’s like they’re showing, “Look there are no feuds between us, no jealousy or rivarly, we are best friends.” And that is great to see a couple who also a best friend that is equally friends with both of them, and there is no love-triangle or any of that.

Ash looked like a godess, so did v, so i can understand why there are more and more envious comments popping up by the minute. Honestly, they are both outrageously beautiful girls, with or without getting all primped up…so in these pics they probably leave everyone speechless…i know i was. Saying that, they don’t look even close to ugly in these pics, so the haters know they are lying when they say that. Zac and vanessa, well it was just easy for them to look incredibly adorable together in their shots, perfect couple hands down.

Not sure how anyone can find a single thing even remotely negative about these photos…..all are stunning!! Do find it a bit of a departure from their “keep the relationship private” stance….but love the pix nonetheless!

Now he and V are sexy as hell in this shoot, and there’s the Tizz looming on the sidelines like a gigantic third wheel.

People who questioned Ashley’s appearance in the pics:

I think the main reason - besides she is hot, part of the HSM cast and a great friend of them - she is on the pictures is because Zac and Vanessa don’t want to flaunt their realtionship directly. I mean Ashley kind of reminds me that they were part of the same movie and became very close mates so she has every right to share the spotlight with them. Of course, after seeing photos like these ones, I cannot forget about the fact that Zac and Vanessa are a couple but somehow Ashley pulls me back from my daydreams of them and divides my attention between her and the lovely pair if that makes any sense to you.

Moreover, I think the photoshoot has a special atmosphere: it’s not only like a travelling back in time but also has a story-telling kind of vibe. I so can create a plot in my mind after seeing the pics. And I think most of us has the same feeling.

Have I mentioned that I love the photos? And not only the pics but the article also. I mean part of it was about the ridiculous fact that some immature people try pinning these performers against each other and cannot realize that in real life they are very good friends. This photoshoot is a story of a guy with two of his favorite girls…one is his lover…the other one wants him…and she had him, but not anymore…he still loves her, but is with someone new….it’s a 50’s type story with a modern twist. Ashley isn’t the third wheel…she’s the rejected lover…and her best friend doesn’t know she loves her man and that maybe they had something going on at one point. It’s a great photoshoot and it was done with actors not models…and it looks just as beautiful…I wish I was the stylist, makeup artist and hairstylist..ELLE HIRE ME….lol.

The relationship had just been exposed by those Hawaiian pics and Zac was still trying to play it down and keep it as private as he could so then he moved on to the subject of Ashley to try to make it seem that Vanessa was a friend like Ashley. At that time we saw a lot of pap pics being shot of not just Zac and Vanessa on the streets of LA but Ashley was often with them. And I think that happened so the paps wouldn’t focus on Zac and Vanessa as an “item”. Yes, they were a little naive in their approach to keep their relationship on the QT but they had no idea at that time the sensation or interest they were going to generate.

Those of you who think Zac and Vanessa contradict what they say about keeping their relationship private and then have pics like this done? Seeing pictures of them together in a photoshoot and seeing candids of them shopping together, etc, is way different than them sitting down telling an interviewer what their life together is like behind closed doors. THAT is the things they are not going to talk about—-you know, like “When are the two of you getting married?” or “Does he snore?” or well…I think you know what I mean, don’t you? That kind of information is totally different and is private.

Those who don’t understand these photos in the Elle photo shoot? They are suppose to be provocative.

Karen, so true! I love that particular picture. I think, though, that they intentionally made her pose that way i.e as in the shadow or a third wheel.
Her dog covers part of her outfit and while Z and V had plain bright outfits that made them stand out, hers was patterned to blend into the background. Her blank look is all part of ‘we can’t distinguish her from the posters on the wall’.

I don’t think anybody should take offence. It’s not supposed to be their real life situations, it’s a creative slant to the shoot and if the three of them have no objections, we shouldn’t.

these comments are ridiculous. obviously this photo shoot with elle is part of hsm3 promotions. i mean the accompanying article is mostly about the movie! it doesn’t even mention zac and vanessa’s relationship except for the fact that fans call them “zanessa.”

second, as with any photo shoot for fashion magazines, there is always some sort of theme involved. as another person noted, it seems very much like a telling of a 50s love triangle. just like their other acting roles, they were given parts to play and followed what the artistic director/photographer wanted. the pictures aren’t a reflection of their personal lives.

These photos are great promo i think!! It will def get the older crowd of HSM 3 ready! as many people have already noted this theme of the photo shoot is the love triangle. As is a theme in HSM too. Ashley is there to act as Sharpay and yet she can’t ever get in between Zac and Vanessa. Even though some of her poses are a little awkward but thats how the photographer posed her. In the last photo with Zac and the Tiz its a total Sharpay pose you know? She is the queen and Zac is like why are you doing this? she is in control of everything. V looks a lot more mature than Gabriella but again that is the theme of the shoot. Personally i think that this shoot was very well made but the creative team at Elle! and really must we all hate on them? they are just doing their job this is promo for HSM3 not for Zanessa. Even though you can see the chemistry you can still tell they are in their characters only for a more older crowd :)

I was shocked when I saw these simply because, they do HSM shoots together but I didn’t ever think they’d do something like this! They look aaaamazing!

Considering this shoot is about acting, I don’t think you can say they’re ‘flaunting’ their relationship. They probably would’ve done something regardless of whether they were in a relationship. This is about the three biggest characters in HSM.

Best Photoshoot ever! It’s like James Dean and Nathalie Wood reincarnate. So sexy and sultry, the 3 of them. Sooo much better than the Disney photos. Absolutely love the clothes and accessories. Vanessa really looks latino/hispanic here. Ashley kills it in the fence pic, looks really hot. And Zac, what can I say, broody James Dean. Elle Magazine, this issue will sell like hot cakes for sure. I have to get my hands on one whatever the cost for keepsake. You captured the essence of Zanessa.

I think getting this photoshoot for Elle magazine was a really big thing for all 3 of them. It shows a whole different persona of them than what we have gotten with HSM3—and that’s good for them. It shows that Zac isn’t just the fresh face teenager and that he can do something older. I think it helps Ashley who really has an extra cross because she’s been on the Disney channel for some time doing the Suite Life of Zac and Cody so she also needs to break that mold a little too. Vanessa just looks so sexy and smoldering in pics 4 and 7 and yet she still has a young vulnerable look about her. I think Ashley has more the world-wise look about her in these pics but when she is interviewed on shows she seem quite “young” too me.

I don’t think Elle still quite got just what a draw these 3 are or it would have been them on the cover, not Jessica Simpson. But then again, maybe by now the powers that be are kicking themselves for making such a stupid decision. And the sad part is many of the people who would have gotten the magazine just because Zac and Vanessa were in it won’t be getting it because they won’t know they are in it since they are not on the cover.

Ashley is the worst part of this shoot awkward and then there’s the problem of her not being photogenic. Either way the whole thing is still gorgeous. The chemistry oozes between z/v, you can see the passion on Both sides in terms of what the pictures are trying to portray.

Ashley’s face is not meant to be photographed, ugh way to almost ruin the pictures.

Just wanted to say hi to everyone especially Karen.

At the moment I’m in the USA with my family and having a great time but still like to check JJ and have to say what great pictures of Zac and Vanessa recently especialy these one’s.

And it look’s like Zac has’nt lost his ring as he seems to be wearing it in some of the photo’s, so maybe as it’s been said all the fuss that it make’s with some fan’s perhaps Zac’s just deciding to wear it for some photo shoots instead of all the time like he used to. And if it’s not his kuppio ring then it look’s a lot like it, but either way love the photo shoot.

callie, I suspect Karen has better grammar, reading comprehension, and spelling skills in her little finger than you have, judging from your post. I’ll just say this to you…….Disney has been around for a very long time, much longer than you. They have quite a track record finding talent. The search process for HSM was long and arduous, and they chose the MOST talented kids there, and that means singing, acting, dance abilities and stage presence. I believe they have more experience judging talent than you. And they chose well. There is no denying that, based on HSM’s phenomenal success.

Please, if you honestly don’t find ANYTHING positive about them, why stress over it? Find something or someone else who rocks your world and post about them. Jared gives us lots of variety, so I’m sure you’ll find something else!
