Zac & Vanessa Heat Up Elle Magazine
On-and-off-screen couple Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens heat up the pages of Elle magazine’s September 2008 issue with Jessica Simpson on the cover. On stands now!
Their BFF, Ashley Tisdale, is also featured in the photo spread. She explains why it took two entire films for singing jock Troy Bolton (Efron) and crooning mathlete Gabriella Montez (Hudgens) to finally lock lips on-screen. The Tizz shared, “The Disney Channel has done movies where the guy and girl kiss, but Kenny thought it would be really nice if you didn’t actually see that. It left fans saying, ‘Wait, we have to see them kiss!’ ”

Karen, a very good point. I and my husband had to accompany my daughter when she was young to see the Power Rangers on stage. We paid a pretty sum to get good seats and watching my girl’s animated face was pure joy. Unfortunately, her father slept through the show.
To this day, I love the Disney classics, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty and Bambi.

On Sunday night, Zac Efron was interviewed on the blue carpet before the Teen Choice Awards and the interviewer showed him a printout of one of the Elle shots. Zac laughed and said, “yes I saw those online.” I will bet he saw them right here on your site!

It’s one thing to give us your opinion, but you cross the line telling us what to do. “get a life”, etc. etc. Let’s just say, HELLO???? You are, I’m assuming, UNDER 18, and you’re HERE???? When I was your age, I was always with my BF, my friends, on the phone, whatever.
The last time I looked, THERE IS NO AGE LIMIT posted here, or to being a fan of any actor or actress. LOTS of adults like Zac and Vanessa because of their kids………do you get that??????? It’s better to have fans of all ages, anyway, cause, LOOK, they’re not teens anymore!!! And then they’ll have an adult fan base. It’s a win-win situation.

Ashlene and Caprice, considering you are not fans of Zac and Vanessa. Nice of you to take the trouble to visit this particular thread.
Ashlene, I guess you have not experienced it but yes Adults do hang out with youngsters to guide them, teach them and just to enjoy their youthfulness. I can see that you have no sympathy or empathy for old folks. We will all grow old one day. My daughter is a teenager but she has a beautiful rapport with older folks and they all love her. I must have taught her well. And she is popular with her friends as well. When she came back for her hols she was in demand but she always found time to go fishing with her dad.
I hope that you , Caprice and whoever else who come on Zac and Vanessa’s thread to throw insults or diss older fans will hopefully realise soon enough that what counts ie. if you’re her/his fan is the support they get from the young and old alike. And if you’re not a fan, it is never too late to turn a new leaf and show kindness and respect to the elders in your family. Take my advice and you’ll see the difference and your life will take on a new meaning and be a whole lot better. So with this, I say, Live in Love and all good things will come your way. Bless you.
Ashlene, been there, done that with growing up. Yeah, age matters with FRIENDS. People should HANG with their own peers, but that’s not the issue here. You’re saying it’s wrong for older fans to be supportive of young actors. WHy?? I have 3 great young adult kids, and support them, good times and bad. I worked in a middle school for 10 years as a school nurse, and supported 1300 teens too, especially in tough times. There are all kinds of reasons why Zac and Vanessa have fans of all ages, and there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that. We’re not BF’s with them…..we just LIKE them, and you don’t. So what?? What is wrong with having different tastes and opinions? I’m not wrong and neither are you. We just THINK and FEEL differently.
It’s just the way some of you like to stuff your opinions and trashy talk down people’s throats. It’s pretty immature. People might talk to you if you weren’t so “in your face” about it.
Caprice, my point was just that, teens have better things to do too, than post here. At the end of my day, after I’ve worked with cancer patients all day, giving chemotherapy, making dinner, and spending time with my husband and kids, I like to sit for a few minutes and read up on what’s new online. Why is that so different from what you’re doing? It’s cool to talk to people from all over the world, and see what everyone thinks. That’s all……it’s all good. Do you see what I mean??
And Caprice, Zac and Vanessa aren’t the only actors I like. I post on other threads too, but only ones I like. I love Matt Damon, Ben Affleck, Jen Garner, Reese WItherspoon, Jake Gyllenhall, Meryl Streep, George Clooney, Kate Hudson, etc. etc. I could go on, but you see, I like all ages of actors. It’s not just Zac and Vanessa……
Go Sox, am impressed with your wide range of likeable celebrities. I do have my particular favourites but that I would not reveal. Zac and Vanessa are the only celebrities that I feel need defending especially Vanessa for all that she represents and all that she is.
Hi, Boji! I do like lots of celebrities, but there’s plenty I don’t care for, for one reason or another. I have defended others as well, when people are mean or don’t know what they’re talking about. If you look at, say Jen Garner-Ben Affleck threads, posters there are brutal about her. I’ve supported Tom Brady, who is the epitome of a gentleman, when JJ has threads on him and Giselle Bundchen. So you see, I must just be a sap, defending people I feel deserve better!!

You have a right to you opinion and I’m just going to say over your comment about how all those people like Demi, Selena, etc, are more down to earth: let’s see what you say about them in about 2 years. I don’t see that Zac and Vanessa have really changed any in personality and that they are still down to earth. It is not their fault they are trailed by paps day in and day out and for them getting more exposure in magazines photoshoots and getting invited to present awards or being nominated for awards doses not keep them from being the same down to earth people they ever were. Those kinds of things spell success and that’s what they ALL—including the Jonas Brothers, Selena, Demi, etc—are working so hard to achieve. That is why I would like to know what you are saying about them in a couple years—after probably some of them achieve the same status that Zac and Vanessa have now.
