Zac & Vanessa Heat Up Elle Magazine
On-and-off-screen couple Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens heat up the pages of Elle magazine’s September 2008 issue with Jessica Simpson on the cover. On stands now!
Their BFF, Ashley Tisdale, is also featured in the photo spread. She explains why it took two entire films for singing jock Troy Bolton (Efron) and crooning mathlete Gabriella Montez (Hudgens) to finally lock lips on-screen. The Tizz shared, “The Disney Channel has done movies where the guy and girl kiss, but Kenny thought it would be really nice if you didn’t actually see that. It left fans saying, ‘Wait, we have to see them kiss!’ ”

ashlene and oceania, you two are good examples of how rude kids are today. There’s NO reason to knock other people for being here. It’s fun for me, that’s all. I am an oncology nurse, and work giving chemotherapy and teaching cancer patients. I have 3 great kids, 2 college grads and last one going next week. I’m very happily married and met my husband at 16. I have a wonderful life and wonderful friends. No problems here.
But what is yours? Respect goes both ways.
I am proud to root for these two young actors in a sea of trash out there. Having been a middle school nurse for 10 years, I am happy to support great young people. Tough if you don’t like that. Or wait……

oceania, it is abundantly clear you have no concept of respect nor are you old enough to to have any idea what life is all about. You are childish so you speak like you are so tough but you aren’t. You are like a brat in a school classroom who is trying to get attention and even though some will laugh at you they are truly talking behind your back about what a jerk you are. Those who follow after you are even more pathetic because they are truly weaklings and desire to have attention through the person who is so obnoxious. Obviously you are the one who has had no discipline from parents. OR if you are talking like this on the internet but know you would be in trouble big time if your parents found out then that also says how desperate you are to be someone you aren’t.
As I said in an earlier post, you want to stir up trouble and get attention and I will not give you anymore. Shoot off you smart alack mouth and show your ignorance. They only people who will applaud you are the ones in the age groupl of 14 or 15. Even a 10 or 11 year old wouldn’t be as stupid as you because they haven’t hit those years where they feel like they have to prove to anyone they are no longer babies.
A great little interview with Melora Hardin from the show The Office who is in Zac’s new movie 17 Again. I think it says how women of all ages can appreciate the charisma and attraction Zac has and will have for many years to come.

Ashlene, Age does not maturity make. You still behave like a 12 year old and certainly speak with the mentality of one.
And I do disagree with your opinion, my daughter is your age and she has admitted to me many times that I know her better than she knows herself. Her friends are always coming over to my house and they can relate to me. I guess I’m one of those parents who actually does understand teenagers and how their minds work. Remember I was a teenager once and have had to grow up unlike most when I was sent overseas to study at the age of 17yrs in a foreign country and alone.
Frankly, we older people are not trying to discredit you or any other teenager. We are just fans of Zac and Vanessa and totally support their relationship, their careers and are just rooting for them like other fans.
If you are not a fan of theirs, fine, just don’t run them down and diss them on this thread and expect their fans to take it and the older fans are a resilient lot and don’t expect us to go away either.
You have parents and you have a relationship and I can only wish the best for you just like your parents would. I’m sure you respect your parents and older folks and I would expect you to do likewise here.
So my dear, what IS your arguement here? If you have a problem you can always seek any of the Older fans out for advice or help and we would be only willing to help you free of charge. Just Holler.

You know what, Ashlene, you have definitely made your point. That is you have no clue as to an adult world yet, nor do you show promise at this time of finding a way of communicating with anyone too much older than you. You can only communicate on a very limited and basic level. That level does not stretch into very abstract thinking.
You think we don’t understand teens but you are wrong. The older people who post here are very in-tune to what teenagers are doing these days as most of us who post on a board like this have a lot of interaction with teens—and we have experience which you do not have. You, on the other hand, show no experience in understanding anyone you feel is “old”. You refuse to listen or learn so you will have to learn in the school of hard knocks. Get back to us in about 10 years. You will find you have a completely different tune and you will find that the age of 28-29 is quite young still.
Or better yet, you could go back to other threads like Ashley Tisdale and any other young celebrity that you most likely post and continue your message of hate and discontent that you are so known for. I think some of you have even stood up very proudly on those boards to anyone trying to defend that celebrity and boasted how you like being a hater and how nobody will change that. And you are so pleased with yourself when taunting others. Are you so proud of being so full such an immoral emotion? An emotion that brings about such things as riots, prejudice, violence, murder, and war?

Whoa, Ashlene, I’m not trying to be rude here, but you are just dead wrong, “sweetie”. I have had three teenagers in my own home, and had 1300 in school. I know EXACTLY what they’re like, what makes them tick, and what they’re going through. How you could say that I don’t know anything after 10 years of working with teens every day is just ridiculous.
And just so you know, you’re not the first teenager in history, and every era has had their issues. What makes you so different?? Sex? We had those issues too….”sexual revolution”, and no such thing as “safe sex” back then. Drugs? Yeah, believe it or not, it was pretty big “back then” too…. Those are issues every teen has had to deal with. Some things don’t change, no matter when you grew up.
Ashlene, I guess you are barking up the wrong tree. If Karen, Go Sox and myself can appreciate High School Musical and Zac and Vanessa as a couple and as individuals, we can very much relate to young people such as you and even younger. This is what you fail to understand. Why don’t you show your parents what we have posted and what you have written and let them be the judge. If they are understanding parents, I’m sure they can relate to this.
Everybody have differences in opinions, likes and dislikes, but we don’t have to shove them down other people’s throats. And we don’t need to curse/cuss and swear and name call to get a point across.

On behalf of all us “oldies” like Malia, troy, narf, V-Loyalist, Boji, go sox, Steph, kgg, Kelly, Zac Fan, Naomi, Pit, TEALEAF, and myself—there are others but I think you get the picture—I am going to say we are not going to continue on this thread to feed your desire for attention since you are too immature and have a limited understanding. You want to stay within a “sheltered” way of thinking and can not go outside the box as none of you have obviously had to take on difficult decisions and work things out on your own. You have much to learn and it shows in your every post. We could go on forever and you will still sound the same as you are now—not ready to grow further intellectually yet. So, have a field day with your taunts and foolish talk. Have fun trying to stir up trouble as that is a phase adolescents go through. It is the only way you know to feel “in charge” and you are too foolish to know just how that you are embarrassing yourself.
Lastly, if you notice, it is people like I have named above that make sense, talk intelligently, and impart interesting and truthful information on these boards. We are not here to see who’s feathers we can ruffle or who’s favorite celebrity we can insult. Those things cannot be said for all of you.

I rarely post but am always looking at the Zac and Vanessa threads to get information. You stupid kids are an embarrassment. It sounds like there are about 2 of you. Believe me, your plan didn’t win. You can’t compete with people who are smart. The old people clearly won. And I think it is weird how this is the only thread you loser kids have chosen to make comments on. You probably don’t want to have to go on the other newer threads and go against all the people Karen spoke of in her comment. You would only be lost in the dust and be nothing more than silly little children. You would be laughed at and you know it so you have to stayed on a post that is pretty much cold. What losers.
