Zac & Vanessa Heat Up Elle Magazine
On-and-off-screen couple Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens heat up the pages of Elle magazine’s September 2008 issue with Jessica Simpson on the cover. On stands now!
Their BFF, Ashley Tisdale, is also featured in the photo spread. She explains why it took two entire films for singing jock Troy Bolton (Efron) and crooning mathlete Gabriella Montez (Hudgens) to finally lock lips on-screen. The Tizz shared, “The Disney Channel has done movies where the guy and girl kiss, but Kenny thought it would be really nice if you didn’t actually see that. It left fans saying, ‘Wait, we have to see them kiss!’ ”

What is with Disney’s weird obsession with them as a threesome? First Zac does an amazing interview last year with Rolling Stone, and almost as soon as he starts talking about V (”a very, very sexy woman”) he veers off into saying how tight he is with Ash, totally confounding the interviewer (and lots of readers too, I’m sure!). Now he and V are sexy as hell in this shoot, and there’s the Tizz looming on the sidelines like a gigantic third wheel.
Beautiful photos, the subjects are all three amazingly gorgeous, but unless their next movie is entitled HSM4: Menage A Trois, I don’t get it.

Sorry she’s not a 15-year-old MiHoley, and she’s mot a 17-year-old pregnant girl like Jamie Lynn. She is going to be 20 soon and the following year she will be a legal drinker. Get over it. Zac is a 20-year-old man.

#153 Zac and Vanessa are ADULTS. Zac is almost 21 and Vanessa is almost 20. They can vote, enlist in the military and if they were charged with a crime it would be as adults. They don’t need parental permission anymore. They ARE adults. Why can’t people understand that?
Anyway I agree these photos are HOT! I do understand why Ashley is there, the article was about “HSM3″ and she is the third lead and and important part of the formula that made it a success. And I think she looks great as well but when you put Zac and Vanessa together she does kind of come off as a third wheel in these photos. But that’s not her fault. Who wouldn’t?

Vanessa is 19 and a half years old. She is mature enough to make decisions on her own.
People who questioned Ashley’s appearance in the pics:
I think the main reason - besides she is hot, part of the HSM cast and a great friend of them - she is on the pictures is because Zac and Vanessa don’t want to flaunt their realtionship directly. I mean Ashley kind of reminds me that they were part of the same movie and became very close mates so she has every right to share the spotlight with them. Of course, after seeing photos like these ones, I cannot forget about the fact that Zac and Vanessa are a couple but somehow Ashley pulls me back from my daydreams of them and divides my attention between her and the lovely pair if that makes any sense to you.
Moreover, I think the photoshoot has a special atmosphere: it’s not only like a travelling back in time but also has a story-telling kind of vibe. I so can create a plot in my mind after seeing the pics. And I think most of us has the same feeling.
Have I mentioned that I love the photos? And not only the pics but the article also. I mean part of it was about the ridiculous fact that some immature people try pinning these performers against each other and cannot realize that in real life they are very good friends. There is no rivalry between them. So stop comparisons.
