Harry Potter star Robert Pattinson, aka Cedric Diggory, rocks out a Plain Gravy t-shirt at the T-Mobile Sidekick LX ‘Tony Hawk’ edition launch party held at 6121 Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles on Friday night.
The 22-year-old rising British actor will soon portray Edward Cullen in the film adaptation of Twilight, a novel by Stephenie Meyer. Here’s a plot synopsis via IMDB: Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) is a girl just trying to survive Forks, Washington- the town with the worst weather in the United States- because her mother’s just married a baseball player. Edward Cullen (Pattinson) is one of five teenagers adopted by the amazingly intelligent and handsome Dr. Cullen, and all he wants is to guard his eerily beautiful family’s secret- that they’re all vampires who’ve given up hunting humans. Can Edward keep up the “vegetarian” lifestyle when he falls for Bella, whose blood has a scent sweeter than anyone on the planet’s? Or, more importantly, can he protect her from others who don’t have the same amount of self-control?
Twilight is set to open nationwide on Friday, December 12.

Robert Pattinson is not only an amazing actor & beautiful musician but also an extremely down to earth person as well. He is sweet to his fans & really takes the time to talk to them. He is absolutely gorgeous with that wonderful sense of humour & a laugh that never fails to put a smile on your face.
I have seen all his movies to date & have enjoyed them all. The amount of work that he puts into all his roles & the depth that he goes into is just amazing. Not only am I looking forward to seeing him in Twilight but also his other projects How To Be, Little Ashes & The Summerhouse.
He definitely has a huge career in front of him & I can’t wait to see what comes next for him.

Of all the young actors Jared features on here Rob is the one I feel has the most potential to be a huge star. Not because of his wonderful looks and model like build. 6 foot 1 is unusual in Hollywood but because he is a superb actor. I dont think many Americans realise that as they have only seen him in Harry Potter but if you search out his other work you’ll see he’s been quietly crafting his skill and testing himself in very different roles. He comes across as a fascinating character. Shy, modest, with a dry humour and serious about his work. Clearly he knows he has to do something like Twilight to get casting directors taking note of him and I do think it will pay off. But I dont want him tied to Twilight films for years. He’s too good an actor for that. I want him to do more films like Little Ashes which I am very excited about.

The IMDB synopsis doesnt do Twilight justice. It makes it sound like such a lame story, when really it is the best book i ever read. READ THE BOOK! (I promise you that you will fall in LOVE!)
