OlderAngelina Jolie: No In Vitro Fertilization!
Angelina Jolie is shooting down reports that she and partner Brad Pitt conceived their twins Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline through in vitro fertilization.
“If they had been conceived by IVF, we would have been happy to discuss it,” Angie says in a new interview. “But we have been fortunate never to have had fertility problems.”
When asked about naming the twins, Brad said, “”The name Vivienne came to us early, as if she named herself–she has always been Viv. And Marcheline is to honor Angie’s mother. Knox came soon after. It is a family name, my grandfather’s. Léon is a classic French name.”
Last night, first pictures of the world’s most famous twins were revealed. On newsstands now is the issue of People, which gives an exclusive 19-page view of the Jolie-Pitt family of eight. Pick up your copy today!

Hi Jared, Brad and Angie were shocked and could not stop laughing when they knew from the sonogram that they were having twins, not because they heard the IVF rumors.
When you have IV babies, you dont need for a sonogram to tell you have twins, you already knew the moment the fertilized eggs are placed back in the womb, because its the parents who decide whether they want multiple or just single baby.
Nobody but the Jenhags and the dlisted freaks believed it anyway, Jared, but thanks for making a thread on it.

ROTFL. Let me get this straight - you won’t believe Angelina, but you’ll believe US Lies Weakly? The same people who, in March 2007, wrote a detailed intro to a story on Pax’s adoption in which they claimed Shiloh’s nurse/nanny calls her “Cutie” and made faces at Shiloh while changing her stinky diaper while Z looked on laughing. A short interval between pregnancies may negatively affect the second pregnancy. A chief concern is the possibility that the mother’s nutritional stores may not be adequately replenished to assure optimum development of the second baby. Many factors influence the growth of a fetus, so it is difficult to quantify the direct effect of interpregnancy interval on birth weight. However, studies do suggest that the risk of low birth weight and preterm delivery increase if the interval is nine months or less.

In France your geno gives you medicines to make you have more eggs if you have a difficulty to get pregnant which is not IVF but you get a help somehow.
But I don’t know if the result of this treatment makes you have twin although the parents don’t have twin history in their families.
They have to research the Angie’s and Brad’s both family sides.
Anyway, they have their babies and they will have more adopted and bio surely.

I could be true for this couple since twins run on Brad’s side, however J.LO definitely had it done as did Marcia and Julia. These other women have had well-documented fertility problems. Angelina did not seem to have a problem getting pregnant with Shiloh so I have doubt she would need treatments. I could still see them doing with though out of a desire to plan to family evenly.
Angelina has always been honest and open, that is why she is CREDIBLE and has INTEGRITY.

Hi Medi, actually you can choose whether to insert 1, 2 or 3 fertilised eggs. I have a friend who was 34 years old when she had IVF and harvested 6 viable eggs. She was very clear that she didn’t want twins and as she was quite young (hubby had the fertility problems, not her) she had one egg inserted at a time. In her case, she hit jackpot immediately with one egg. She made the same request for her second child (who is actually the fraternal twin of the first baby as she used her frozen embryo).
A couple may ask for 2 embryos inserted to double her chances of pregnancy - but of course, it is possible for one embryo not to take and so you are left with a single pregnancy. Or, you could end up with a twin pregnancy.

Angie is never known as a liar. That’s why I believe her. What’s nice about her esp. regarding this IVF issue, is that she would gladly confirm if indeed they did it thru IVF because I think she believes there’s nothing wrong about it. She doesn’t sound defensive or anything. It is what it is, and that the truth is this— the twins were conceived NATURALLY as she & brad have no fertility problem.

The three former actresses/celebrities you mentioned are all about image the latter has always been candid about things in her life even things which all the other actresses’ agents would tell them to hide, bury and lie about because they are all about promoting a particular image (which usually is not remotely what they are really like) and staying in the game. So it’s quite possible one or more of the other celebs may have had this treatment. Ms Jolie has always had an ‘in your face that’s how it is’ honesty which is why she is criticized by dishonest people who can’t cope with her openess.

I knew Angie would have mentioned it already if she had used IVF. She and Brad conceived twins the old-fashioned way - naturally. I don’t know if the tabs/media intentionally write falsehoods or if they are too lazy to really try to get to the truth.
But as a fan who watches Angie and Brad’s interviews whenever I can, I knew they had conceived the twins naturally. In late 2006 when asked if she was pregnant again at that time, Angie said no she is on the pill and they would adopt next. That is a very open and candid answer. A woman who would tell you she is on the pill would also tell you she used IVF.
But anyway, in 2007 they adopted Pax like Angie said. So common sense would tell you she must have still been on the pill in early 2007. Then after Pax she began filinimg Wanted. I don’t think a woman would try to get pregnant while filming an action movie. Then from that she filmed the Channgeling. Again I doubt a woman would try to get pregnant with another major film looming. I think Angie was on birth control pills through most of 2007. I don’t think a woman goes from birth control pills to IVF treatments in a matter of weks or a couple of months. It just doesn’t make commn sense.
I think she got off the pills as the filming came to an end in late October, early November. And like with Shiloh, she and Brad conceived almost immediately. Like she said in the Hello interview, they have no problems with fertility.
Does anybody know whether twins run in Angie’s family. Her father mentioned that he has a neice with twins. I think I read somewhere that Jon Voight had twin brothers. Is that true? And do twins run in either or both the Voight and Bertrand family?

You can’t believe anything US mag says, it’s just as bad if not worse than Enquirer mag. But regardless it still wouldn’t be our business if they did, doesn’t make the babies less lovable. Angelina has nothing to hide and hasn’t denied even some of her most embarassing moments. Love the fact she is who she is take it or leave it attitude. I do applaud mothers out there who went that route to have a child it’s a personal choice.

Statistics says that they DID do IVF or some other reproductive assistance. The story explaining why they did (to expand their family fast) rings more true than the claim that they didn’t. Angelina is right- I don’t think she has any fertility problems; what they had was an impatience problem. Not that it matters how the kids were made, really.

MEMPHIS, TN (WMC-TV) - Academy Award winning actor Morgan Freeman was involved in a serious car accident Sunday night in north Mississippi.
Mississippi Highway Patrol spokesperson Ben Williams said Freeman and a female passenger were traveling eastbound on Mississippi Highway 32 in Tallahatchie County when his vehicle went off the edge of the road. Freeman overcorrected, flipping his 1997 Nissan Maxima several times before coming to a rest.
Emergency crews extracted Freeman and his passenger from their vehicle using the jaws of life. According to Williams, they were both airlifted to the Regional Medical Center in Memphis, where Freeman was listed in serious condition Monday morning.
The condition of Freeman’s passenger has not been released.
Freeman, who won an Academy Award for his performance in 2004’s Million Dollar Baby, is a co-owner of the Ground Zero Blues Club in Memphis. He currently stars in the Batman sequel The Dark Knight.

I just read People. The pictures are lovely. Very normal, natural, genuine pictures of a family not any different than pictures from the average family photo album. I find it very refreshing. They do not show off any designer baby clothes or extravagant baby furniture that you see in other celebrity baby spreads. What’s even more refreshing, they are very honest with how they are coping with having to raise newborn twins and 4 older children. They say they are tired, it’s chaotic, they get very little sleep, but they are also happy at the same time. As any mom knows, those first newborn days can be overwhelming and exhausting, and I get so tired of hearing celebrities say the generic, sugar-coated responses of “everything’s perfect”, “we are over the moon”, etc.
I’ve never followed any other celebrities, but I find this couple very interesting and admirable. I don’t understand where all the hatred from their skeptics come from. Yes, they are not perfect. They have their flaws. Their lifestyle can be a bit over-the-top. They are celebrities after all! But, at least they are trying to be better by caring about the less fortunate and donating their time and money to those in need. That’s what makes them interesting, and really a whole different level of what it means to be a celebrity.

The hospital where Freeman is being treated is commonly known as The Med, and is an acute-care teaching facility that serves patients within 150 miles of Memphis.

The babies are precious; but i was a little bothered that the cover featured Shiloh and none of the other siblings with their new babies; if it had been me, i would’ve demanded that ALL of my children were featured on the cover of the magazine, because they are loved equally — whether or not they are all biological. I am so happy with the interview and the pictures. I think People asked great questions, and it was all about Angie and Brad directly, not the interviewer’s comments, observations or thoughts ( why I do not like TV interviews with Ann Curry). The children are well represented and each is beyond beautiful. Angie’s in a nightdress I think, and could not look any more gorgeous. Up close and no make up, doesn’t matter with her. Brad, well Brad just makes you swoon. They are natural, having fun, a brilliant format to show the family’s personality as well as let us see what the twins look like.( Mini Brad, Mini Angie, no question.) Now that I see how they handled this photo shoot I am embarrassed for all the others who glammed up.

Good morning to all of the smiling, happy people who are the BAMPZSKV fans. Let no on dampen our joy. I have spent the last hour or so catching up on the previous thread. Ohmygawd, the pictures are so beautiful. All of the children look so natural and happy.
The twins look like their parents. You can feel the joy jumping off of the pages. Yes Brad and Angie look tired. But don’t most women look tired after having a baby. And when it is two babies waking up every three hours to feed that can make you tired.
But they still look natural and beautiful. I am happy they sold the pictures. Not just so we can see the babies and the other children. But so they can build the TB and AIDs clinic in Ethopia, do other good things with the money. This is so much better than the paps getting the money to spend in some selfish, non-humanitarn way. People don’t realize how truly generous, thoughtful, and caring the joliepitts really.
Brad’s parents must be truly proud of him. Angie’s mom is beaming down on her daughter with pride also. They are teaching their children some good lessons about helping and giving.
After seeing those pictures my heart is full. Happiness, goodness and joy are contagious they make you feel alive. And that is what is radiates from those pictures. May God bless the joliepitts in their efforts to rear their children, and to help those who are in need. Peace

On her father’s side, one of her uncles is a famous song writer. The other is a geologist. She has famous godparents. Her mother grew up above a bowling alley. She has such a colorful family history. These people would be embarrassed if they truly got together in something like a PUBLIC protest and had to actually face each other. They would probably be scared to learn what other things their fellow protesters ‘disliked’. No, it’s anonymity for them. The only way they can PRETEND they are not ugly narrowminded freaks.
I don’t know why some find it unbelievable to think that Angelina and Brad knows of things that are said in the tabloids. Angelina indicated in an interview on tv she didn’t mind reading about celebrities, but not when it’s about her because most of the stuff written about her is untrue. I think it was the interview with Anderson Cooper, but don’t hold my feet to the fire on that.
Even if the celebrity themselves don’t read them or watch celebrity tv shows, it is REASONABLE that their representatives would and bring up matters that they think the couple should know about. I don’t think they’re living in a bubble as to what goes on in the tabs. I’m not saying they have subscriptions lol, but they are people who are aware of the world around them including the world in which they work.
Angelina did not have to address the IVF matter, but I give her props for doing so. I don’t think it would have mattered to her fans if she hadn’t..

Just got back from roaming around the country side. I got greeted by a courtesy basket full of goodies - and yes!!!!!!!!! Hello Mag and Aug 2008 edition of Marie Claire, with Angelina Jolie on the cover !!!!!!!!. What a treat !.
It will take me 2 hours to stare at this pix - my fave so far are the 2 little ones. I like Shi’s pix with lil sis. Pax —— he just too funny with the hint of color in his hair, bare chest and a tie ! Mad is just adoring his brother just yawning !!!!!! Now, I couldn’t not stop laughing. Z was holding the other twin - don’t know if this is Viv, but her eyes is just focus on the little one !
I wish I could package all these beautiful palaces - magnificent creations and bring them back home. These are built in the 12-15th century, they are HUGE and just spectacular ! . The Papal palaces specially — wow ! To think they lived in these huge palaces with luxurious furnishing , at the back of the ordinary French…. no wonder they overthrow Bastille and the power that be !
I went antique hunting again today. My Land Rover is being serviced. I was riding the bike with Bam, but the small villages are very accessible. Bought a settee and an old antique secretary. These small antique stores will ship them to the US.
Then I’ll go down for my late dinner with some other guest. I missed breakfast, and the early dinner. But I’m not hungry, and still wired up. Got to change from shorts to a dress, and meet the other guest !

When you have IV babies, you dont need for a sonogram to tell you have twins, you already knew the moment the fertilized eggs are placed back in the womb, because its the parents who decide whether they want multiple or just single baby.

when you have IVF you need an ultrasound to determine wether one, two, three (depending on number of eggs implanted) stick at all….so there is no gaurentee that IVF will give only twins, its possible to have single births with IVF as well..

i agree….the prevalence of twins is just waaay too much…and although its not impossible to have twins w/o IVF i personally think she did…..she was waaay to thin to conceive at one point it seemed….and she’s really young to be having twins…..33!!! (there’s a greater chance the older you are) and all the rumors about these typa things seem to be true eventually, its not a big deal if she denies it or admits it, it just doesnt seem very likely…..also IVF tends to give fraternal twins more than identical…..

Lovin’ the pics so far; Pax is “hot” for a 4 year old; i love the way maddox is holding shiloh; i couldn’t believe my eyes when i saw Zee - i always thought she was pretty but i didn’t know she was that gorgeous; so cute the way zee and shi are both wearing pink nail polish; the pic of brad with zee holding the twins is PRICELESS; shiloh has had to grow up quickly; she’s enjoying this “big sis” role; maddox’s blue streak is the best, and i love the way he’s admiring viv; i’m glad to see angie with a full face, even though it probably won’t last; zee’s hair is so pretty and has grown so much; i can tell viv is going to be pretty; i love how dark pax and maddox have gotten too; i’ve loved this family ever since it was still being rumored that brangelina were a couple; they’re gorgeous.

People have been having twins since humans evolved from Lucy and way before anybody ever heard of IVF. I know a 16 year old who had twins a few months ago. Although your chances of having twins is higher after 35, you can have them at any age. Most of the twins I know were born to young mothers.
Angie was thin but no way emaciated or anorexic and definitely not too thin to conceive by any method.

All those women you listed probably did use IVF…because they were all in their late 30’s and 40’s. So they would need the help.
But Angelina is in her early 30’s, an age when doctors would not even use IVF. She doesn’t need the help. THAT’S the difference! It is very reasonable for someone at her age to have twins naturally, especially when it runs in the family. You can’t lump her in with 45-year olds.

So I should have went back but no, I got an address off the thread last night that said an international Newsstand had it, 484 Broadway way downtown, got on the subway; they will have it Wednesday Hello and Hola (I am getting all of them) Well, there is a Bloomingdale’s on Broadway and Broome street (I really need to go all the way downtown more often), had to go in. Stopped by Strand looked at the books for $1.00, stopped in a few Barnes and Noble and Borders in the Columbus Circle mall They had Prince Williams, Kate on the cover. by the way, Angelina’s healthy veins, are just that, healthy. because a person who is thin, for unhealthy reasons, WOULD NOT have any veins showing at all.
Some of these haters need to give their heads a shake - stars such a Jennifer Lopez, Julia Roberts, and Marcia Cross were a good 5-10 years OLDER than Angie when they had their twins, which can make all the difference where fertility is concerned. Angie is a healthy woman in her early 30’s, so there is NO REASON why she would need to do IVF. Many women in their 30’s have fraternal twins through natural conception because their ovaries are more likely to release an egg from each ovary at the same time in their 30’s. Nature’s way of ensuring our species survives.
Second of all, even when a woman is implanted with fertilized eggs during IVF, there is no way of knowing how many of those eggs will implant to the wall of the uterus and thrive, so women doing IVF still need to have sonograms to see how many babies they are going to have.
Stupid-azz haters just can’t stand the fact that Brad and Angie have been DOUBLY BLESSED with a biological son and another daughter - their hate is killing off their brain cells and leaving them with no logic. SO Typical.

This is OT, but really Ben doesnt act protective over Jennifer GArner, he never holds hands with her in this video. And im surprised that the paps were able to go with them in the elevator, that is really the most awkward thing ever. Hello to Jill, angel, passing through, vicki, nelah, irma, andromeda, anoble and the other fans. These comments about Angie being too thin to conceive are just stupid. I am 5″6, and weigh about 105. I have been thin my whole life. I had zero problems getting pregnant. In fact, I gained about 65 pounds with each pregnancy, and got back to my normal weight within a year. My doctor said everyone is different, what is normal for one is not necessarily normal for another. That should be obvious, but these haters are so desperate. Let it go!! They had mind blowing sex OVER AND OVER AGAIN. Maybe you guys should try it.

Tell me about it. I’m the same height as you are (5′6″) and I weighed 108 lbs when I got pregnant, and it took me one whole month to conceive after I stopped taking the pill.

Just got my People mags as the guy was just putting them out. Literally grabbed it from him.

I’ll go back to B & N for the Hello tomorrow, but seriously, it was an ordeal finding a copy of People.

People publishes first photos of Brangelina twins
NEW YORK (AP) — Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt say their four previous children are adjusting just fine to the arrival of a twin brother and sister last month, with cupcakes and “Dora the Explorer” to help ease the transition.
Jolie and Pitt speak about their growing family, their charity work and their work-life balance in a question-and-answer in a special edition of People magazine that hit the newsstands Monday. A 19-page, $14 million-photo spread anchors the piece and gives a first look at the new babies interacting with the whole family.
The photos show Jolie and Pitt — each cradling a twin — sitting on a white bed with Zahara, 3, between them; Pax, 4, by Jolie’s side; and Shiloh, 2, lying on top of 7-year-old Maddox, who is plopped down by Pitt. There are close-ups of the twins, Knox and Vivienne, with their eyes closed, and photos of the older siblings gently holding the babies.
“It is chaos, but we are managing it and having a wonderful time,” Jolie, 33, says in the interview, though Pitt jumps in: “(It’s) still a cuckoo’s nest.”
Jolie says they helped prepare their children for the babies’ arrival by showing them an episode of “Dora the Explorer” that featured twins, and by celebrating the birth with cupcakes.
So far, laying out the welcome mat has paid off, she says.
“Shiloh calls them her babies. She and Z pick out their clothes and help change and hold them. It’s sweet — they are little mommies,” Jolie tells the magazine.
Jolie also puts to rest speculation they conceived the twins through in-vitro fertilization.
“If they had been conceived through IVF, we would have been happy to discuss it,” she says. “But we have been fortunate never to have had fertility problems.”
The photos were shot at the Chateau Miraval in Provence, France, where the Jolie-Pitt clan have hunkered down in recent months. The twins were born July 12 in Nice, France.
The photos of the family fetched $14 million, a person involved in the negotiations told The Associated Press on Friday, giving People and the British tabloid Hello! joint rights to publish the most expensive celebrity pictures ever sold.
The person asked not to be named because he was not authorized to release the figure.
The money — more than double the $6 million People paid for Jennifer Lopez’s twins on a March cover, according to Forbes — will go to a foundation created by Pitt and Jolie that largely focuses on helping children around the world.

It’s been less than 24 hours since the world got its first look at Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s twins – Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline — but already the stars are reacting.
At the Teen Choice Awards on Sunday evening, “Gossip Girl” star Blake Lively gushed over the adorable pics found on the cover of this week’s People magazine and Hello! magazine in the UK.
“Wow,” Blake enthused. “They’re such beautiful kids.”
Josh Holloway, who plays Sawyer on “Lost,” was also impressed with the first photos of the twins, which People and Hello! collectively paid a reported $14 million for.
“Dig ‘em, dig ‘em,” he smiled.
“Those guys are brave,” Holloway added, referring to parents Angelina and Brad. “They’re raising a football team or something. But I really dig them for it.”
But it wasn’t just the photos which captured the stars’ attention. The funds raised from the sale of the photographs are going to charity, something Holloway said he could get behind.
“If you can make money to help the world, then do so,” he said. “I fully support what they do there because they are very private and they handle their business very privately as I feel every one should.”
In related news, Angelina’s “Kung-Fu Panda” co-star Jack Black, who accidentally confirmed she was expecting twins on the “Today” show earlier this year, revealed he sent the new mom a special gift.
When he confirmed Angelina’s news, Jack told the “Today” show, “you’re going to have as much as the ‘Brady Bunch,’” and in an interview with Access Hollywood’s Nancy O’Dell this past weekend, Black noted his comment inspired his gift.

My friend was a strawberry blonde when she was a child; her hair is mainly blonde now. Her husband has dark brown hair. Their firstborn was a brunette when he was born, whose hair faded into a dark blond color and is now back to being dark brown. Their second child was a strawberry blond; his hair changed to blond. Their third child was a strawberry blonde; she is still a strawberry blonde. Their youngest has dark brown hair; he’s two and it’s still dark brown.
Seriously, haters… you know d*ck about people of color; you know even less about those of the Caucasian persuasion.

Paramount Pictures and Brad Pitt’s Plan B have acquired “Miki Falls,” a four-volume manga series created by Mark Crilley.
TV scribe Sera Gamble has been tapped to adapt.
Story chronicles the final year of high school for Miki Yoshida, the series’ protag who tries to befriend handsome new student Hiro Sakurai but is met with resistance. Stubborn Miki, however, refuses to take no for an answer, which leads to a surprising revelation about the secretive young man.
Crilley is best known for his “Akiko” young adult novels and comicbooks. His first “Miki Falls” tome, each of which span a season of the calendar, was published in May 2007 by HarperTeen.
Gamble is a producer of the CW Network series “Supernatural” and was a staff writer on “Eyes,” which aired on ABC. She was also a finalist on “Project Greenlight” for her screenplay “Cheeks.”

I never understood IF the Jolie-Pitts went IVF way, why would haters think that they love each other less or something LOL! My neighbor had two IVFs and got two beautiful children.
As open as Angie is on just about everything, they would certainly discuss IVF if it indeed were. I guess it comes down to the haters’ pathetic need to believe Jolie-Pitts are not having sex—it’s obvious and comical, isn’t it?

Talking about their growing family, Angelina tells PEOPLE, “It is chaos, but we are managing it and having a wonderful time,” while Brad adds, “It’s still a cuckoo’s nest.”
The pair, who deny having fertility treatments — “If they had been conceived through IVF we would have been happy to discuss it” — shared that they were “in shock” when an ultrasound showed twins. “We could not stop laughing,” Angelina says. “We burst into hysterics,” explains Brad.
My sister had made a joke about twins literally the night before, because my grandparents and sis both had twins. Angie was on the table during the sonogram, and we were in hysterics. We didn’t see this one coming.
Brad described the naming process for the babies, as well as their looks and personalities, to Hello! and PEOPLE. While Marcheline is in honor of Angelina’s late mother, “the name Vivienne came to us early, as if she named herself. She has always been Viv.” Knox is named after his grandfather, while Léon “is a classic French name.”
I dare to say that Viv is proving to resemble Angie in spirit, attitude and physicality. She is quite elegant like her mother. And Knox, he’s a bit of me. He likes music like his dad. When he was born he looked like Putin!
The older siblings are extremely involved and love having new babies in the house, Brad and Angelina share. “This is Mad’s fourth and fifth time at becoming an older bro. He’s asking us when we can have more!,” Brad says. The girls are equally enthralled, Angelina reveals.
Shiloh calls them her babies. She and Zahara pick out their clothes, help change and hold them. It’s sweet, they are like little mommies.
Angelina, who is breastfeeding the twins, tells the magazine that keeping the babies on the same schedule has been a key to their success. When Knox and Viv are done nursing, the other children like to hold them, and also help with baths and changing.
A: They eat every three hours and I’m getting better at holding them both for breastfeeding at the same time, so that helps.
B: We try to get them to eat simultaneously for the sake of management, but it gets a little crowded at the bar!

Angelina Jolie rolls into the room, like a ship in full sail, heavily pregnant with twins. She is bursting joyfully out of her Dolce& Gabbana dress, the ultimate earth mother. The only concessions 2 her double load are having her Christian Louboutin heels lowered & wearing Nike insoles in her shoes.I have always been extremely thin, she says. This is very very large, she adds clasping her bump with a laugh. But I love being pregnant.It makes me feel like a woman. It makes me feel that all the things about my body are suddenly there 4 a reason.
Were in Cannes,where Angelina is promoting her KFP & Clint Eastwoods period drama Changeling. And I cant hold back on the question at the forefront of everyones mind. The ‘Wow- 2 MORE children?question. I remind Angelina that last time we met we were staying in the same hotel & I bumped into her & Brad in the lift She wasnt yet pregnant & they were talking about how careering round the world was not a life 4 kids.& now their fabulous & unconventional family unit will be even bigger& more unwieldy…

Stop trying to lump all JJers together. Most posters here have discussed this subject ad nauseum and were well aware that fraternal twins are familial on the maternal side. Most of us know perfectly well that Brad’s family history of multiple births is irrelevant to Angie’s pregnancy. However, Angie herself has maternal uncles who are twins and a maternal female cousin her own age who had twins.
Sorry to spoil your fun feeling superior on a GOSSIP board. Maybe you could go beat a seven year old at Scrabble.
Part 2:
Angelina is adamant as ever, that this doesnt matter because family is the most important aspect of her life.Becoming a parent, a mother has changed me& how I view the world. Her motivating force,she says has been 2 give my family the childhood I always craved,a real family with 2 parents.(Angelina’s parents divorced when she was 3). And true 2 her word,she & Brad are absolutely hands on with the children.They never work at the same time & though they have help-a Vietnamese teacher & Congolese & American nannies_Angelina says,We spend a lot of time completely alone with our children. We dont have anybody spend the night. We want 2 raise these children 2gether; we’re committed 2 them & thats the priority. We are very much just parents 2gether.
As for Brad ,she raves about him as a dad:I do find Brad very Sexy, obviously, but I believe we are 2gether for all the other reasons. He’s the best man, the best father, I could possibly wish for.’ Asked 4 an example, she continues,’He’s always thinking about the kids & what 2 feed them for breakfast. Because, 4 him, its the most important meal of the day.’
Talking of food, our omelettes & salad arrive,& the fare is so French it reminds us of where we are & that Angelina is not just here 2 promote her forthcoming releases. She’s also here 2 find a place 2 have her babies.

She cant say exactly where(can you imagine the invasion?)all she says is that the most important factor for them has been 2 find a place where all our bedrooms are very close & on the same floor-nobody wants 2 sleep far away.She & Brad have reportedly taken out a lease on a 17th century Benedictine priory, in the South of France. Acoording 2 the locals the Pitt/Jolies were looking 4 a quiet backwater 4 the kids(Madd 6 Pax 4 Zahara 3 Shiloh 2)& were drawn 2 the house because of its organic produce ranging from olive oill 2 lavender,sage &thyme.It also has a helipad which means its only a whirr away from the local hospitals when the time comes.
I hate that we can’t edit our posts. My last post above was directed at the insufferable biologylesson who lectured us this morning. My post shoudl have read thus:

This passion 4 France,Angelina continues,is a memory of her mother,Marcheline Bertrand, who was of French-Canadian descent & who died of ovarian cancer in Jan.2007,age 56. Although my mom was as far from Parisian French as you could get! Angelina smiles. She grew up in a bowling alley {in the US} that my grandparents owned, but somehow the French thing filteredthrough. French is the 2nd language in our house & although Im still learning, I am teaching my family French.
Marcheline is sorely missed & the mention of her brings tears to Angelina’s eyes. She helped me be a mom, she says. It was her mother she turned 2 when she 1st adopted Maddox & went from being a single woman one moment, 2 literally holding a baby the next. I didnt know what 2 do. I called my mom. I remember saying” Do kids have 2 or 10 bottles a day? Im at a loss. I had never even babysat.

Her mother, though suffering from cancer for 8 years, became actively involved with her grandchildren & Angelina wants 2 raise them with her mothers principles. She encouraged me 2 figured out who I was & and try 2 enhance my individual personality & not get in the way of it. This & stickers are her key child-raising techniques of the moment. Sticker stars are big in the Jolie/ Pitt household:The kids get stars 4 good behaviour & collect them 2 exchange 4 rewards. {Sounds scarily familiar 2 the parents among us}
In her frankness, Angelina Jolie makes you 4get that shes not just another mum. For a moment, you feel that shes just like the rest of us, even though she is possibly the Most Famous Woman In The World.
Even when Ive seen her & Brad 2gether, they’ve seemed so regular, romatic & relaxed. Hand in hand, in sync as parents, no minders dancing around them, not a couple who claim more column inches than any other. I ask her if the children notice this discrepancy-the mum & dad they get at home as opposed 2 the Gorgeous, Most Photographed couple in the world. Oh please, she shrieks with laughter.I think our kids will look back on all that as being really funny when they get older because they think of us as being really dorky-in fact, the dorkiest people on the planet.
