Carrie Underwood - “Just a Dream” Music Video
Peep the new music video for Carrie Underwood’s new single, “Just A Dream.”
It’s the forth single from her second studio album album, Carnival Ride. The vid was directed by Roman White.
“Just A Dream” chronicles a young woman who is about to get married, only to discover that her husband-to-be soldier has been killed in combat. Upon realizing that he is dead, she wishes that it were “just a dream” that her husband had been killed.

Tony realizes what dumb f*ck he’s been and is seriously trying to make it up but Carrie aint buying it just yet. Make him work a little and play it on her terms. Carrie is one smart lady. Now, Jessica good lord what was he thinkin’. She is so stupid she latched onto him when he is into Carrie and she doesn’t have the respect for herself to back off. She just lets him dial away. Stupid. Make him work Carrie. Cause you seriously are the best catch any man on this earth could get. The total package of the Sweetest thing there is to have.

first of all i LOVE carrie underwood and this video is AMAZING! when I bought her cd, Carnival Ride, Just A Dream was one of my favorite songs because it was so touching. the video definetly does it justice. it is a beautiful and sad video. i’m so glad she made this video because it really shows us all how much we appreciate the military for risking their lives every day to keep us safe.

As the wife of a deployed soldier, I think this song came out at a bad time… yes, it sheds light on my worst nightmare, but every time I hear it I get very upset… as does every other military spouse I’ve met. It is a beautiful song, but I think Ms Underwood needs to think about who this song is about, and how damaging this is to think about, when we could get that news any moment. I hope no one has to go through the pain that is vividly expressed through that song.
