Leighton Meester’s Carry-On Dog

Leighton Meester arrives at JFK airport in New York City late Monday night with her dog tucked away in a carry-on bag.

The Gossip Girl cutie was returning from the Teen Choice Awards, where the cast picked up six surfboards, including Choice TV Show Drama.

At the Teen Choice Awards, Leighton spoke to Access Hollywood about the racy and controversial ad campaign for Gossip Girl.

“It’s mature, but I feel like it speaks to kids and it doesn’t white wash anything,” Leighton said.

“We just end up seeing it on a billboard somewhere,” she said. “But I think that it’s smart and it’s fine and it’s cool.”

So what if the dog isn’t textbook cute like her costars’ pups. She prob did the right thing and adopted it from a shelter rather than buying the cutest one in the pet store.
