Suri Cruise is a Playground Princess
Rolled-up jeans mama Katie Holmes takes her daughter Suri, 2, to a playground in downtown Manhattan, where they spent some quality mother-daughter time together on Tuesday afternoon.
Suri really seemed to enjoy her time on the swings, which was where she spent most of her time at the playground. As she left the playground, Suri drank from her milk bottle and held onto her blankie.
Earlier in the morning, Katie was spotted going to rehearals to prepare for her Broadway debut in the Arthur Miller play All My Sons.

Suri is gorgeous! Just one thing, I wish Katie would grow her hair long again - it just keeps on getting shorter.

That baby is unhappy. She never smiles. Even on the swing … she’s not smiling. Look at the difference between Suri and Violet Affleck. They are roughly the same age and Violet is always smiling, laughing, and ENGAGED in whatever she’s doing. Suri is like a little statue that has been dressed well, but she’s blank. That concerns me. Her million yard stare is a little unsettling. I really don’t think this is a happy kid.

It’s not going to kill any of you if Suri has a bottle or not.
So TomKat have different parenting philosophies than others.
It’s not going to affect you in any way what kind of cup she uses.
Suri is an adorable little baby, and I don’t think Katie cares what you all think.
I totally agree with #8 i was going to comment saying the same thing. She is adorable but the poor thing is dressed that nice to swing at the park i mean come on some shorts and a t shirt for the little girl would be fine for the park.
Look dumb @sses…I see kids her age in my neighborhood with a bottle all the time. What’s a kid to drink from when they are outside in a playground….a glass from the kitchen?

She’s cute…but hope she’s not damaged with weird parents especially the father. Poor kid.

Hey Anonymous, does sippy cup ring a bell? Ever see kids who use bottles until they’re Suri’s age? Their front teeth form and fit around the nipple. Tom and Katie wouldn’t want their little precious Suri to have dental problems, would they?
And why does this kid always have that dumb, wide eyed, dopey stare on her face? She always looks as if she’s just woken up from a nap. Or like she’s been shooting up. Either one…

I’m surprised Katie let Suri in that dirty swing when she’s wearing her nice dress. I guess Suri never wears the same thing twice so it doesn’t matter…

is it me or is it August everywhere? i know in Virginia people are wearing summer or at least spring wear, why are these people wearing long jeans,sweaters…….. i remember wearing my jeans like that when i was in 9th grade in 1987!

My god, get off the phone Katie and pay attention to your child! Geez, can’t these Scienos get anything right?
Where to start? If I am not mistaken the Sciento’s believe that you must treat children like they are adults. No kiddie talk. No snuggles, nothing. I suppose that means that Suri will decide when she wants to be weaned off the bottle and when she will be potty trained… hopefully before school starts- but, Oh that’s right she will be in a Sciento school where are the babies are minature adults wearing diapers and drinking bottles.
It is just sad she doesnt have the same opportunity to just be a little girl. Not shorts and tennis shoes no running laughing getting dirty…just crazy.
Also, i think she looks more like Chris Klein everytime I see her.
Tom wants Katie and Suri to resemble him…hence the skinny, androgynous look for Katie and the mullet hair for both Katie and Suri. And I believe Suri demonstrates autistic tendencies; look at her in comparison with sparkly, personable Shiloh Jolie-Pitt or Violet Affleck. But we know Scienos don’t treat autism (Travolta’s son).

what a beautiful child! she looks very cute in her dress and flats. on the other hand, what is katie wearing? those jeans are awful and her hair looks like crap. she kinda looks like a boy.
SO what is the verdict on security blankets - good or bad for kids? I think I don’t mind them. Not sure about bottles.
How many days in a row has she been wearing those pants?
She’s wearing those pants because Tom wants Katie to resemble a boy.
Has this child EVER worn anything but a dress? Does she own play clothes?
