Suri Cruise is a Playground Princess
Rolled-up jeans mama Katie Holmes takes her daughter Suri, 2, to a playground in downtown Manhattan, where they spent some quality mother-daughter time together on Tuesday afternoon.
Suri really seemed to enjoy her time on the swings, which was where she spent most of her time at the playground. As she left the playground, Suri drank from her milk bottle and held onto her blankie.
Earlier in the morning, Katie was spotted going to rehearals to prepare for her Broadway debut in the Arthur Miller play All My Sons.

this child is still using a bottle at 2 1/2 years old? what is katie thinking. better question; where are suri’s grandmothers. surely one of them has told katie that it’s time to take away the bottle. as for the dress, doesn’t this child ever wear pants and a shirt. something that she can run and play in.

I agree - its just not normal for a child that young not to be running around having fun - smiling laughing etc - suri doesn’t engage, thats it! shes cute but she’s as blank and expressionless as a doll
Picture 10 makes Katie look like Tom instead of a young woman … she looks more boyish as time goes by. Ew

Sorry, but the kid looks like a little snot. Check out the 2nd pic where Katie is leaning down and Suri is pulling away. That’s what happens when there is no discipline and the kid is allowed to do whatever she wants…..like walk around dragging a WHITE blanket on the ground in a park in New York City!!!! Oh, well, Katie buys them by the dozen, so I am sure this one will get tossed. Toss the bottle, too, will you? And what an ugly dress the alien has on. Wonder how many hundreds that cost?
Scientology says to let the kid do what she wants……..like no discipline, no bedtime, bottle, blanket….and I am sure SHE is the one who demands to wear the same shoes all the time.
They dress her like a little old woman, she’s 2 years old for goodness sake!!

I agree! I was just thinking about how I had to bribe my girls to wear dresses and Mary Janes for picture taking. When they were out playing they wanted shorts and t-shirts or sweats (depending on the weather). Also, seeing as how my girls took it upon themselves to pick out their outfits (unless we were going somewhere important) They NEVER would have ended up on the cover of a magazine!!!
I still crack up when I think of some of the “combinations” they came up with!
Absolutely adorable! Katie needs to hit Gymboree for some play clothes, and Suri has got to ditch the bottle!

Hmmmmm……Now that I have taken a closer look, in all fairness to Suri, Kids respond when they are engaged, even autistic kids.
My son is Autistic and he laughs all the time. When I have the time to volunteer in his class room all of those kids smile and laugh as well. Yes they have attachments to objects etc and get distracted easily but they still respond.
Katie doesn’t smile once at Suri, or even engage with Suri while she is pushing her on the swing. In fact Katie doesn’t look at all happy. Maybe its just me….
What? Katie must be inspired by Jennifer Garner to have a photo op at the playground. But this time with some improvement. Hey! They played the sling, instead of Suri just standing around and hitting the ground with her head.
Just like somebody mentioned in earlier thread. No doubt, very soon we’re going to see Suri paraded around town to promote her mother’s big Broadway debut bomb .
Can you find any other child that looks more dull and bored than Suri?
Many posts also said that she’s developmentally challenged.

Such a freak show. Let’s just watch the experiment unfolded before our eyes. The bes production ever by Tom Cruise.
They are going to bring us the freak of the century, namely, Suri!
We should be grateful to them for showing us what not to do as parents.
And please enjoy the Suri show, which is way better than Katie’s pathetic debut on Broadway.
Katie’s sucking all the real attention from the play, the box office is going down the toilet.
However, we don’t care, do we?
As to Suri, we don’t really care either.
Her master has all the money to shell her the real world. Once she becomes way too wayward, they only to have to hide her deep inside the castle, just like Travolta’s son.
You know you’re doing something wrong when your 2 year old daughter dresses better than you.
