Gerard Butler Exits Elegy
Gerard Butler leaves The Cinema Society and Glamour’s screening of Elegy at the Tribeca Grand Screening Room and then attends the after party with the movie’s star Patricia Clarkson in NYC on Tuesday.
The film stars Ben Kingsley as David Kepesh, a cultural critic who finds his life (which he indicates is an “emancipated manhood”) thrown into tragic disarray by Consuela Castillo who’s played by Penélope Cruz. She’s a well-mannered student who awakens a sense of sexual possessiveness in her teacher.
Elegy premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival in April, and will have a limited release on August 8.

And it makes me sad and angry when I read all such stupid things about him (gay, bad boy etc).
I was in Scotland two years ago and I know the Scots very well.
They are warm, polite and friendly people and something they are hard and rough like the country, but they are always very hospitable. They have a long great and sad history and they ‘ve always fought for their freedom and peace. I love the Scots and their country that’s the reason why I ‘m fighting for gerry the “human”. I think ,he is also fighting for a bit of peace every day, against paparazzis, journalist , stupid questions etc. He isn’t perfect because he is a human but you are right he is sencere. No I stop and I will never write again on such sites it have been the first time and it will be the last time.

I can tell you that Gerry won’t be going back to the Bianca waters again, he was glad to get rid of her, she was only using him to farther her own career (tiny though it is), he actually got people to get her to leave one of his premieres because he didn’t want her there (she was escorted to the door, so to speak) LOL, and no I haven’t seen her do a single great thing since he got rid of her, she went back into the background again. she wasn’t good enough for him anyway, (in case no one ever noticed the reason she was looking upset at the premiere where she wore the green dress was because a lot of people were saying he could do a lot better then her and she got mad, (I think he actually laughed at it). He has dated others since then I’m sure and he will wait to announce who he likes when that someone comes along, and I totally agree with Lonewolf he will not have any rejections to announcing that person right away, (as soon as he really has someone he cares about,) he has never showed any hesitation in letting people know who he is dating, To answer someone else’s question, I don’t think Patricia was in that movie

Lonewolf, you’re right that was her in the movie (I just looked it up) and for anyone interested, Patricia has been with Campbell Scott since 2005, he is considered her significant other, (oh yeah)

Why are you still talking about Bianca? Can’t you jealous white women get over the fact that this man doesn’t date white, let alone white middle-aged fat women? He likes lean black, asian or latina models, but mostly black models. He loves Brazil and Brazilian women and has said so publicly.

How do you know everyone who talks about Bianca are white women? Funny, I know several who are guys and they arent white not to mention several women and the majority isnt white?! Why is it all about color and not looking at the whole picture.
For one, if you google and put in G-B Interviews, you will find whether it is in person or magazine/newspaper when brought up he loves all women regardless of size and color. And he also stated he likes Icelandic women and Italian women who are white!!!! (one of his g/f was Italian and another white….) in other words, not just Brazillian.
Second, my Mom is white and my Dad is Brazillian/French and many times unless I am in the sun I can be taken for white, which me personally I could care less-I dont see color I see the person……meaning unless I know for sure as to who is saying what I dont pass judgement, I dont have that right nor am I in position to judge others because I am no better or worse than anyone else including yourself. As for middle aged fat white women-this tells me you put yourself in high esteem which is fine that is your choice, but if you research his sites espically, he has dated a “middle-aged fat white woman” (as you describe it) yet, she isnt fat, large porportioned but yet the sweetest lady youd ever met…..and there are other women of different color besides white who are fat and middle-aged BTW.

It isnt the color of the skin that makes a person nor the size-it is the personality, attitude of the person themselves. You can be black, white, chinese whatever…..and have the crappiest personality around and this is what makes/breaks you.
I have friends all over and not all white, black even latino but brazillian, chinese and so forth…and you know what…there is a color we all share and that is red-we all have blood flowing in our veins….
So, when you put down white women or anyone else…you might want to think first. Llike your comment about Briziallian women and white in the same comment…me personally Im both and proud of it. True, you have your opinion but I for one would not say things as such because again…I am just your average indiviual trying to be the best I can be and no one is better than me or am I better than them. And Gerry Butler is one who thinks the same way. Live today as if there is no tomorrow and greet every one as they are your equal.
