Jennifer Garner takes her daughter, Violet, shopping for toys at one of their favorite spots, the Brentwood Country Mart, in Brentwood, Calif., on Tuesday afternoon. Violet smiled up a storm as usual!
The 36-year-old pregnant actress was in Miami on Saturday for a Barack Obama fundraiser.
“Jennifer Garner gave the first speech supporting Obama, and she was very witty, clever and funny,” says a source at SET club told People. “She was followed by her husband Ben (Affleck), then Matt Damon. The men gave serious political speeches on how the country needs change.”
Damon shared why he’s supporting Obama: “For a lot of reasons. But mostly because I don’t like the path this country’s on and if McCain is elected we’ll be continuing down that same path.”

Im not really a fan of Jen but in her defense she’s hardly poor. She has Queen Bee status as Ben Affleck’s wife. She never has to work another day of her life is she doesn’t want to. She can have six more kids with Ben and be a stay at home mom if she wants. I think women at her level clearly understand that when you marry a man like Ben, cheating just goes with the territory. For all you know, Jen might be having some fun with the bodyguard. I have to admit her bodyguard is a hottie. He even looks a bit like Michael Vartan.

#13 “using her child to get famous”……………………..ok, let’s take that one for a minute. Ben and Jen did not pimp their kid out on the cover of a mag. (+18 pages) for $14 million did they? Ben was hounded by the paps long before Jen and V. Now, both Ben, Jen, and V. are hounded by the paps. Even more so now that there is another Affleck on the way.
Talk about people pimping kids. All the celebs that put their kids on the covers of the tabs………………are pimping. Not a person who has always gone to the local markets, now she takes Violet.
If she isn’t suppose to take V. to the market or shopping, exactly what are they suppose to do? Stay in their house, oh, so they can lead a sheltered life,
And for all those that say she wants the pics, and the paps to follow her, well, have you ever seen the videos that go along with these pics? If so then it is real clear that Jen does not want 25 people taking her picture.

We have been through this before…………….She now has security that goes with her on most outings, like the market, etc. If you review pics there are I think 2-3 different body guards/security that now walks with her. I think it is a good thing.
hope the next baby will look more normal/average. this first kid is so… umm… something that rhymes with snuggly. yeah that’s it so “snuggly”.

people who get that kind of money for pics are already famous thus completely irrelevant to say they use their kids to get fame.
Pimping that child out again. Ben calls the paps and they get paid for the pics. The magazine pay Ben for the pictures, it’s an under the table deal.
Violet is the most adorable baby. She just loves the camera already!! I have seen her on video’s where the paparazzi’s have called her name out, and she has waved to them and has blown kisses like a diva. What a precious child!!! So secure with everyone also.. Jen and Ben have been great parents and should be proud of themselves. Baby Affleck number #2 will be just as lucky and fortunate.

Violet is the most well adjusted celeb baby on planet not to mention the cutest. That is why there are so many negative comments about her on this JJ thread. They feel threatened by us popularity and try to discredit her by posting untrue and stupid comments about her. They want her to go away so they her cuteness does not shed light on other less fortunate kids out there.
As for you poor Debra at @ 18-19 & 20, how old are you? Were you so unloved and neglected as a child that you harbor such resentment and envy toward a sweet innocent child like Violet Affleck? You should get some help.
Jen is so cute and her baby bump is so adorable. She always looks so cute pregnant. I adore this family. Is there any doubt?
To # 31 & 32 If you read interviews done by Jen you would know that she does not want to be famous. Why would you say she uses her child to get famous? That makes no sense. She was “famous before she had a child. She enjoys working in the industry. And she said she would not have met Ben if she wasn’t in this business. I thought that was so cute. She also talks about the ups and downs of her profession and one of which is her & her family’s privacy. In spite of it all she tries to give her baby a normal childhood. I think she should be appaluded for her strength and devotion to child, not critized. She is doing a good job. The proof is in her beautiful happy baby. Good luck to them on the new addition.
yes, i like to take my poltical advice from actors with low morals. Jennifer Garner-cheated on her first husband with her costar and was pregnant when she married Ben. Ben -wasn’t he in rehab? And Matt Damon-who wouldn’t love a guy who broke up with a girlfriend on Oprah. What a guy!

Okay you guys, she is not pimping her child. I highly doubt that she is calling the paps everyday and letting them know where she will be. They stalk her! That is the only way that they are getting these photos. If you are a normal person in LA you most likely will not see a celebrity unless you 1) go to places they frequently hang out. 2) stalk them. Therefore, If I was being stalked I would want a body guard too.

Those are “baby” teeth that will fall out and if there are any issues with the permanent ones, they can be addressed. As for the ears they can be fixed with a 20 minute operation. Grow yourself a brain and then try using it.

I don’t live in LA but I’ve spoken to plenty of people who do and say they see celebs all the time. I guess it’s all in where you live/hang out.
Anyway, I don’t beleve that Jennifer is trying to get photographed on purpose but I don’t believe that she “doesn’t want to be famous” and I also don’t believe that’s she’s doing everything she can to shield her kid(s) from the media spotlight. I read an interview where she said she would do anything to keep Violet from being exposed to the paparazzi. Well that’s OBVIOUSLY not true. She and Ben choose to stay in LA. It is not necessary for them. They could pull a Demi and Ashton and live in the sticks somewhere and come back when they have projects to promote. But they haven’t yet done it.
