Clearly some people here want to start something. Jared, can you delete their posts? That said, she is asking for a divorce period. End of story. Attraction knows no boundaries - there is no logical explanation why we are attracted to people and there is no ethnographic study to be done on the matter. Just as I don’t judge Rober Deniro for his choice of women (who happen to be all beautiful) I don’t judge Morgan. Private business. Just as I don’t judge Sienna Miller either - if she wants to live that way - she will have to pay the consequences, that is all. I wish Morgan a speedy recovery. Hope he recovers quickly and hope his wife finds the happiness she needs.

Do you have any stats on this - hard core stats? Because studies prove that majority of people marry their own kind. Rich or not. Disproportionately so - most people marry people of their own race. The only area of possible question is the percentage of Asian women and White men - in some cities. It seems a large percentage of Asian women marry White men and not Asian men - and even that is not the norm. Most Asians marry other Asians. So in fact, due to society - most people marry their own kind. Your “argument” or “point” does not hold up demographically nor scientifically - try again.

The article clear states that they’ve been separeted since December, that’s 8 months ago. Why can’t we assume that he hooked up with the mistery woman after he separated from his wife, and the only reason why they are saying something about it now, is so no one accuses him of creepin’ which you are all doing now anyway.

it’s obvious that you read only tabloids and have no clue about real life. They have been separated for EIGHT MONTHS. Don’t you think that maybe long before that, the marriage was over and his wife might be somewhat more aware of what is going on than YOU??? Don’t you think that being separated for eight months would mean that the marriage is dead and they are dating and it’s only legal issues that still make them man and wife?

I know people who are no longer “married” in reality but have stayed married legally. Don’t you? The separation for so long says it all. Clearly, the only reason the divorce announcement came is so that idiots and tabloids don’t create a controversy where there is none. These are private people, private ADULTS, who don’t need or want their private lives all over the tabs and blogs for people like posters here to speculate and get it all wrong just because a juicy story sounds better than the boring reality.

First of all I wish my very favourite actor, Morgan Freeman, a speedy recovery from that terrible crash.

I imagine that all the speculation has caused the divorce announcement to be made. I find it rather weird that his lawyer has declared that they separated in December 2007 when the photo accompanying this article shows an apparently happy and contented couple and was taken in April 2008! Perhaps the crash caused the divorce - who knows.

I am glad that Morgan Freeman has recovered. Although he is my favorite actor, I must say that I am a little disappointed in him, but what can I say, it’s his life and he lives it the way that he wants to :)

I have always found him to be an exceptional actor. After reading his biography, he is also an extraordinary man. I am hopeful that Ms Meyers is merely a friend, and not someone seeking to find wealth on her back (so-to-speak, AIN’T NUTHIN’ BUT A GOLD-DIGGA). Lest we forget those most important in our life, those we hold most dear and sometimes take for granted: (to quote Morgan) ~

I have loss all respect for Freeman, an old man like himself should be ashamed. He was married to a beautiful black lady, but he have to cheat on her with some dumb trashy white women who knew he was married. I do not agree with those who say love has no color when it come to cheating on your spouse. People who think like that are no good themselves. A lot of white women will do things with men that black women would not think of doing whereas some white women will do any thing. They do not have any morals, and do not care about breaking up familes as long as they get what they want. It does not matter if Freeman and his wife were separated, they could have worked it out if he was not such a pig. I do not know what is wrong with our black men. I came up in the day if a black man looked at a white women with those interests, he would have been beaten and hunged. I also remember when the black women had to stand between the white man and her husband to keep him from being harmed. Black women did all of that for nothing, trying to protect the black man, and now a lot of them have turn on their own culture, I hope his new tramp takes him for every dime he has because that is what it is all about anyway.
