Brad Pitt is Officially an Inglorious Bastard

Apparently it takes LESS than 90 minutes to fly to nice to berlin,brad also has the option of flying back and forth to the studio,it shorter than NYC and LA highway commutes,lol

I know that this is digging in an old sore, but here goes. I like others have thought about Brad/Jen’s divorce. I really wondered how they got together, and why it worked for a time. Jen said in her Vanity F. interview that she and Brad had a complicated relationship. That sounded funny to me. He spoke of how she was really honest and cut through all the crap (Oprah/while promoting Troy). He said she likes to speak and hear the truth. If you read the end of her interview it is really revealing. I think ,and this is just me, that he married a friend. That she was comforting to him, and he to her. I think they enjoyed each other sexually, and it was probably good. Brad has always seemed very unconventional. To look at him he’s very “boy next door”.
I don’t think that is who he is at all. I think they, like friend s do sometimes, grew apart. They were living together and yet not together. Courteney Cox said that Brad told Jen about his feeling for Angie. That must have been some conversation. He told her about the attraction. She probably asked if he was in love with her, he said he didn’t know. She then asked what did that mean for them, he did not have an answer.

I think it went that way because if you remember his interview with Diane Sawyer ( I think it was her) asked about he and Angie, and he said something like he did not know what was going to happen in the future. That there were a lot of thing to work out. I think all that meant was that he and Angie were not a couple. She said in an interview that she and Brad stepped out on faith. That they were lucky that they turned out to be for each other everything they had wanted.

I think when he ended (Jen actually) ended the marriage he did not know if it was going to work with Angie or not. I feel that he wanted her or was infatuated to the point that he wanted to see if it was just an attraction or if it was something more. In that Diane interview she asked him about his parents feelings about his marriage breaking up, and he said that he was an adult, and that he was the one who made choices about his life, and how he lived it. (I’m doing this from memory).

Later we saw Brad/Angie on that beach. But if you look at the pictures, there were no display of affection between them at all. His focus was on Madd. At that point, the marriage was over, but I don’t think Brad/Angie were in full blown love. I think they were getting to know each other away from the camera set. Away from the press.

I don’t know when the relationship really started, I do believe that they have found in each other their other self. Brad seems happy and Angie has matured a great deal. Their friends comment on this too. George has said how happy Brad is not. He knew him during the Jen years too. Courteney Cox has not spoken badly of Brad, again someone who is in the know. Jen and Brad had a good run, then it ended.

The statement that I most dislike that came from Jen’s camp was that Brad did not want children. That it was not a priority in the marriage until near the end. She or one of her friends said this. I remember him speaking of children in all of his interviews. Maybe she did not care or support him enough to watch or read them to know that he wanted children. Because in that interview she painted a picture of a woman who wanted children, and a man who did not. This I find confusing since the man now has 6, and the woman has none.

I could go on for hours. I am curious about Jen/Court. They have not been seen together in a while. Jen is on several magazines this week. I don’t know why, she does not have a movie coming out yet, and I don’t know why she would be new worthy… Oh the twins are here. MY BAD

You’ve just finished filming The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button with Brad Pitt (released in January 2009). What is he really like?

Jason Flemyng: He’s great fun. He jokes around all the time and has a real quality about him. On set the director called me over and said, ‘Jase, just watch him. Watch him move.’ Instead of walking, Brad literally glides. It’s incredible. I think his looks have hindered him. Not in terms of the parts he’s got, but in terms of what people think of him. When you think of Seven or Kalifornia, you think, ‘This guy is a phenomenal actor.’ Then you see Ocean’s Eleven or Thelma & Louise, and you think, ‘He’s a good looking b*****d.’

Did you ever see Angelina on set?

JF: She was around. They bought a house in New Orleans while we were filming there. She was very charming and sweet.

I came home not long ago* had dinner with friends & their families. We spent part of the day taking their children school shopping. Funny thing is* we were at a clothing store & a lady & her child of perhaps 10 was in the same aisle as we & I heard their convo* the gist:
‘child: mom you still owe me $17.00 from last week* so just buy me so & so & we will be even.
The child didnt have a disrespectful tone to her mom *but it made me think of a song I heard in my house. Really if only children knew how much a mothers love is so freely given.

Below is this fans comments dealing with the death of Bernie and Isaac. Do black men always do something bad? This was brought on because a poster asked what was happening to black stars and how sad it was! We tried explaining it was part of our youth, but Miss TLC had to cross that line, of course if a black an dies it’s his fault! Lets just forget Heath, River, John B and the many others, Bernie had a life threatening disease, Issac, was a Scientologist, no drugs, from all accounts he was working out! But this one needs to of course blame the dead!

This is a gossip board. Neither you nor I know Isaac Hayes personally. If I feel like making a joke I will make a joke. There is nothing inappropriate about making a joke. Dark humor is probably the oldest type of humor there is. So with all due respect get yourself a sense of humor and save your scolding for someone else.

And quite frankly I don’t need an exposition on the ridiculous “beliefs” of a cult that is as close to organized crime as you can get.

Fashion issue of the week: where on earth did Angelina Jolie get “that nightie”? I love Angelina Jolie. Despite her best efforts to be humdrum, to fit in with us mere mortals, she positively radiates superstardom. She’s not averse to stepping out in a tent of a dress, pregnant or otherwise, and preferably a grey one, and still she upstages anyone else in their glittering finery on the red carpet. She attempts to downplay any physical beauty, taking on serious, even political roles. A better-than-average performance as Mariane Pearl in A Mighty Heart aside – much red-eyed, red-nosed screaming and gnashing of teeth required – she still looked like the resident supermodel. The reviews at the time labelled her screen presence “overpowering”, not entirely unfairly. But Angelina Jolie just can’t help it. The weirdest thing of all? She does actually look like Mariane Pearl – like a hyper-real Mariane Pearl, the living, breathing Hollywood ideal. Marvellous.

And now, here she is in the long-awaited, much-anticipated pages of Hello!, clad in nothing more obviously glamorous than a big, white, frilly nightdress that may as well have been snapped up for a song at John Lewis, or perhaps Woolies. Even given her history, this particular choice of outfit is unprecedented. The thick straps, the ungainly A-line silhouette, the large tiered frill that falls to just below the knee…

Angelina Jolie’s nightie looks dated, as opposed to vintage – more Terry and June than Pretty Baby. And still her appearance rivals that of the average angel.

Anyone else would surely have been tempted to dress to impress. Jolie could have worn a bias-cut silk Charmeuse slip, for example, the sort they stock at Myla or Agent Provocateur. It could have been oyster or even red, echoing her astonishing appearance in Alexander, when her crimson goddess dress, and magnificent crimson breasts barely contained therein, were the focal point of the entire, admittedly quite lamentable, epic with its cast of, literally, thousands.

If purity was the effect she was looking for – and one can only assume that to be the case – she could have opted for a cotton lawn, lace-trimmed Victorian nightdress with pretty mother-of-pearl buttons, or a 1930s petticoat. If she were even remotely predictable, she would have worn men’s pyjama bottoms (Brad Pitt’s pyjama bottoms!) and a vest.

But no. Angelina Jolie chose to follow a route that was far more anti-fashion and anti-glamour than any of that. She tried, once again, to look normal, like the demure young mother she most certainly is not. Inevitably, she failed.
