I doubt that has anything to do with it. Geffen is a well-known “inglorious b#stard”. He doesn’t make day-to-day decisions on financing movies, though. For the most part oversees the business aspects of Dreamworks and does the dirty work for Spielberg, and when he was part of the main company, Katzenberg as well. David Geffen’s bottom line is always going to be his ego and money - in that order.

If you haven’t read the the December 2007 story, check it out. It’s pretty obvious that while Sumner Redstone is an old coot who’s better business days are behind him…Geffen is just plain mean and petty. Geffen brokered that deal, then when Spielberg didn’t think Par was defferential enough to him he got mad and when Spielberg is unhappy, then Geffen comes in to make Steven happy. Brad Grey is just another casualty of Geffen’s ego.

oh neleh, one more thing, that Shirley Cesar song, brought back memories too, i remember that song very well, but had forgotten about her, and that song, my mother always played that song when i was a child, she sings like her too., my dad was totally the opposite with a lot a blues song, haha bye for now,

i would rather be angie and do one movie a year and get my 20 million and spent the rest of the time with my family rather than do 4 movies and earn 27 million so i guess angies life is sweet she is getting the honey from both sides.

Can you imagine being Angie, just laying around the house, munching celery by the pool or something, and suddenly you hear a very loud motorcycle slowly chuggin up the driveway and you know that in a couple of minutes the front door is going to open BRAD PITT, THE SEXIEST BEAST THAT EVERY LIVED is going to come walkin through the door all windblown and sweaty and looking for a kiss? OMG.
