OlderMiley Cyrus: Breaking Up With Nick Jonas Was Hard
Miley Cyrus finally opens up about her break up with Nick Jonas of the Jonas Brothers in the September 2008 issue of Seventeen magazine.
Despite her success as a Disney superstar, she’s still a normal girl learning from her mistakes. Miley dishes on the extreme lengths she went to heal from her heartbreak, the price of being a role model and her recent Vanity Fair photo controversy.
“[Nick and I] became boyfriend and girlfriend the day we met,” he 15-year-old Hannah Montana star shared. “He was on a quest to meet me, and he was like, ‘I think you’re beautiful and I really like you.’ And I was like, ‘Oh, my gosh, I like you so much.’ Nick and I loved each other. We still do, but we were in love with each other. For two years he was basically my 24/7. But it was really hard to keep it from people. We were arguing a lot, and it really wasn’t fun.”
When asked how she dealt with her break-up from Nick, Miley said, “At first I bawled for a month straight. I was so sad. I just went into this weird funk. And I dyed my hair black. When we were dating, Nick wanted me to get highlights – and so I did that, and I got myself looking great. And then, on the day we broke up, I was like, I want to make my hair black now – I don’t want to look pretty; I want to look hard-core. I was rebelling against everything Nick wanted me to be. And then I was like, I’ve got to be by myself for now, and just figure out who I really am.”

but what i have to say to her is “Just leave him alone now he has his own life and you do too, and your video ‘7 Things’ makes it feel like your blaming nick for everything but really, you were the one that broke up with him. and you shouldnt blame him for that and you’re seriously a bad role model for little kids. and if you keep dposing hella bad your not going to be popular anymore and people will stop liking you. i can guarantee that”

Wow. I totally UNDERSTAND Miley now. This…is so sad. Have you guys seen her cd??? The thank you part??? Anyway, I think Miley is really a good person inside. Maybe she never wanted to get over nick because she loves Nick so much. Poor Miley. Nick’s already moved on. Hope they’re gonna get this all fixed up. I also hope Nick’s gonna reply to what Miley says.

I can totally understans why they kept it a secret. I think it’s sad and I can totally relate to Miley. I’ve lost someone so close to me before. Still the dye your hair thing may have been a little over the top, but everyone handles things differently. There’s really no reason to bash on her for finally revealing her thoughts and past. Although everyone think she’s ‘fake’ and ’sluttly’ she’s still a person, just living everyone elses dream. Time heals everything and obviously this was hard for her, so support from her fans would be great I’m sure.

Am I the only one that see’s what she’s doing? She’s obviously depressed and angry that Nick broke up with her, and now she’s trying to turn everyone against him. This isn’t the first time she’s tried either. She will continue doing this until Nick’s fans slowly fade away. Which they won’t. I’m not gonna say that Mandy is influencing her to do this, but it sure does seem like it.
