OlderMiley Cyrus: Breaking Up With Nick Jonas Was Hard
Miley Cyrus finally opens up about her break up with Nick Jonas of the Jonas Brothers in the September 2008 issue of Seventeen magazine.
Despite her success as a Disney superstar, she’s still a normal girl learning from her mistakes. Miley dishes on the extreme lengths she went to heal from her heartbreak, the price of being a role model and her recent Vanity Fair photo controversy.
“[Nick and I] became boyfriend and girlfriend the day we met,” he 15-year-old Hannah Montana star shared. “He was on a quest to meet me, and he was like, ‘I think you’re beautiful and I really like you.’ And I was like, ‘Oh, my gosh, I like you so much.’ Nick and I loved each other. We still do, but we were in love with each other. For two years he was basically my 24/7. But it was really hard to keep it from people. We were arguing a lot, and it really wasn’t fun.”
When asked how she dealt with her break-up from Nick, Miley said, “At first I bawled for a month straight. I was so sad. I just went into this weird funk. And I dyed my hair black. When we were dating, Nick wanted me to get highlights – and so I did that, and I got myself looking great. And then, on the day we broke up, I was like, I want to make my hair black now – I don’t want to look pretty; I want to look hard-core. I was rebelling against everything Nick wanted me to be. And then I was like, I’ve got to be by myself for now, and just figure out who I really am.”

I hate how she trys to make nick seem SO BAD. I mean, seriously. WTF? You’re 15, *****!! Get the f*ck over it! You were together and you broke up. Life goes on. That’s just how it goes. Did she expect to marry him or something? You probably weren’t even really in love!! Unless you were “in love” at 13?? And you dated for TWO years?? Funny because I’m pretty sure Nick dating other girls when he was 14 besides Miley.

I don’t feel bad for her. They broke up. She needs to get over it and stop acting like a b*tch. She doesn’t even know what love is probably. WTF? Once she meets someone and gets into a REALLY SERIOUS relationship she’ll feel really stupid for thinking she was “in love” at age 13. So, no, I don’t feel for her at all. She KNEW what would happen when she spilled the story. I hope Nick is pissed at her.

For those of you who can remember the movie Pretty Woman, Miley giving this interview reminds me of a scene from that movie.
The sales women in a very posh store rejected julia robert’s character. Only for her to go to another store, dressed to the nines, sporting bags from other expensive stores, she returns.
Only then to tell the sales clerks”………………….big mistake, huge.”
This interview, even though Miley might have wanted to set thing staright, just makes her look sad. There was just no need to tell this much of the story.

Honestly, I feel some sympathy for the both of them. They were a really cute couple, and I still kind of think they are. The break-up was really hard of Miley, and I feel bad about the way she dealt with it. Nick, seems like such a genuine guy and I’m practically in love with him. <3 It might also bring me down a bit if Nick is dating other girls, but there is nothing I can do about it. :P

I feel bad for her because break ups suck, especially when the other person moves on so fast. I total get why she would die her hair because it is like the feeling of needing to be different than the oerson you were when you were with the boy.
