OlderMiley Cyrus: Breaking Up With Nick Jonas Was Hard
Miley Cyrus finally opens up about her break up with Nick Jonas of the Jonas Brothers in the September 2008 issue of Seventeen magazine.
Despite her success as a Disney superstar, she’s still a normal girl learning from her mistakes. Miley dishes on the extreme lengths she went to heal from her heartbreak, the price of being a role model and her recent Vanity Fair photo controversy.
“[Nick and I] became boyfriend and girlfriend the day we met,” he 15-year-old Hannah Montana star shared. “He was on a quest to meet me, and he was like, ‘I think you’re beautiful and I really like you.’ And I was like, ‘Oh, my gosh, I like you so much.’ Nick and I loved each other. We still do, but we were in love with each other. For two years he was basically my 24/7. But it was really hard to keep it from people. We were arguing a lot, and it really wasn’t fun.”
When asked how she dealt with her break-up from Nick, Miley said, “At first I bawled for a month straight. I was so sad. I just went into this weird funk. And I dyed my hair black. When we were dating, Nick wanted me to get highlights – and so I did that, and I got myself looking great. And then, on the day we broke up, I was like, I want to make my hair black now – I don’t want to look pretty; I want to look hard-core. I was rebelling against everything Nick wanted me to be. And then I was like, I’ve got to be by myself for now, and just figure out who I really am.”

Umm “Denise”? How old are you? that was a pathetic “story”. And Miley needs to stop trying to be an attention wh*re. She’s only doing this because Nick is with Selena now, and she’s dying of jealousy. Nick obviously broke up with her because he didn’t want to date her anymore. She needs to get over it. He has, apparently. And I DOUBT that they dated two years, unless it was off-and-on, because I’m pretty positive that Nick has dated other girl besides Miley. =p
people should not be that rude with her! everybody wanted to know what happened with nick and when she finally talked about it everyone begin telling bad things about it! she suffered!

I personally don’t know Nick but I would never think he ‘forced’ her to get highlights, it probably was a suggestion not meant in a hurtful way.
But i hope she told Nick before she blabbed this story. If I was him I would be pissed either way, it’s a personal matter not meant for everyone else to know.
I feel bad for Miley but i still think she is super annoying and I can’t stand her.

I find it funny because she talks about like it is such a serious relationship I mean she is fourteen and when she said they started dating when they met that seemed a little immature and she isn’t taking it seriously. She desperatley wants to seem older than she is but the whole thing with Nick makes her seem like a 14 year old.
#113 - I actually remember that scene, and I think you’re totally missing the point of that part of the movie, but I don’t feel like getting into that kind of discussion. What I don’t understand is how and why someone of your obvious age doesn’t cut this girl some slack; she is only 15 years old and still learning! She had her first break up, she talked about it, big deal. She is entitled to make mistakes like everyone else, get over it.

He becomes a lifestyle or a habit. Once you change your lifestyle or break a habit it is wierd. It is like what`s is the point anymore.
