OlderMiley Cyrus: Breaking Up With Nick Jonas Was Hard
Miley Cyrus finally opens up about her break up with Nick Jonas of the Jonas Brothers in the September 2008 issue of Seventeen magazine.
Despite her success as a Disney superstar, she’s still a normal girl learning from her mistakes. Miley dishes on the extreme lengths she went to heal from her heartbreak, the price of being a role model and her recent Vanity Fair photo controversy.
“[Nick and I] became boyfriend and girlfriend the day we met,” he 15-year-old Hannah Montana star shared. “He was on a quest to meet me, and he was like, ‘I think you’re beautiful and I really like you.’ And I was like, ‘Oh, my gosh, I like you so much.’ Nick and I loved each other. We still do, but we were in love with each other. For two years he was basically my 24/7. But it was really hard to keep it from people. We were arguing a lot, and it really wasn’t fun.”
When asked how she dealt with her break-up from Nick, Miley said, “At first I bawled for a month straight. I was so sad. I just went into this weird funk. And I dyed my hair black. When we were dating, Nick wanted me to get highlights – and so I did that, and I got myself looking great. And then, on the day we broke up, I was like, I want to make my hair black now – I don’t want to look pretty; I want to look hard-core. I was rebelling against everything Nick wanted me to be. And then I was like, I’ve got to be by myself for now, and just figure out who I really am.”

I think that at 15, you don’t know what love is so you confuse infatuation with love. At fifteen I was at a similar situation because my ex and I were practically inseperable so its just weird not having that person that you usually talked to 24/7 in your life anymore. She just cared a lot for this person and had love for him (probably was not IN LOVE with him) so she said they were in love.
But despite this, she really does sound concited especially with the whole “he said that I was really beautiful and he still loves me” bit. I think that now that he’s going out with Selena she’s trying to get all the attention she can get becausae it hurts her that he’s moved on and she’s also obviously trying to move on (adam sevani?) . She’s really starting to irritate me .
