OlderSunday Rose Visits Her Aunt
Nicole Kidman brings her new baby Sunday Rose when she visits her sister, Antonia Kidman (holding her own child, Sybella), in Sydney, Australia, on Thursday.
The 41-year-old actress recently told radio station 2Day FM she and husband Keith Urban needed to be left alone “so we can walk around Sydney and show the baby our town”.
“She’s tiny. She’s not a doll. She’s a like a real little thing. Just [don't photograph] right in her face or in our faces because it’s scary for her. She’s tiny, a tiny little thing,” Nicole pleaded.
Urban told the station that photographers should not get “right in her face or in our faces because it’s scary for her”. “I get the interest there is. But at the same time it’s our little girl,” he said.
Kidman said the baby looked like Urban with “a bit of a reddish tint” in her hair.
No photographs of Sunday Rose have officially been released and Urban says the couple have no intention of selling any.

I think it is admirable that they are not going to sell the photos of the child. And, even if they did they papz would STILL be haunting them for more glimpses of Sunday anyway.
Well, I see the NIcole haters are out bright and early! I think she is lovely and she and Keith make a wonderful couple. You all don’t know that she doesn’t see her older kids. They have been to Nashville twice since the baby was born according to local gossip.
Nicole has always been very very protective of her kids. Unlike Tom she doesn’t use them as photo ops.If you look in the photo archives of Bella and Connor when they were young–you see very few pictures because she was so protective.
The kids are happy, healthy and well adjusted. They love Nicole and she loves them. I bet you all aren’t half as critical of all the male actors and nonactors out there that rarely see their kids. It is just because she is Nicole and female.

I think , that they should sell pics of the baby, because soon or later a pap wil get the pics, and sell them. I will prefer that the money goes to the parents instead of a pap.

Those pleas for no cameras in the baby’s face mean absolutely nothing to the paps. There is a lot of money at stake to get the first photos of the baby, millions I’ve read, so Nicole and Keith may as well save their breath because it won’t do a bit of good….sadly…but money is much more important to the photogs than anything the parents might request.
Even if they don’t sell those pics, someone’s going to get a truckload of money for them. They should just stand on a step and let the paps click away so that the pics become worthless if they don’t want to sell them or better yet, do what Tiger Woods did and put pics on their website.
They don’t have the baby’s face covered because she is ugly. They are outside and most people cover their baby’s face….NK and KU have jackets on, it might be chilly there! If they don’t want to have her photographed by the photogs, they have that right. I do hope that when they get back to the States that they will release a photo now that their family’s have seen her. I see that the photogs really respected their request for privacy!!!

You must be a very unhappy and cruel person. I was reading your comments over on the Aniston thread. Why don’t you find a therapist to help you through your aggressions, hatred, and general unhappiness?
Nicole and Keith are saying they’re not going to sell pictures of Sunday Rose, but not that there will never be photos.
Perhaps the best thing is to call a press conference… have security set a boundary and just let the papz take pictures for a minute or two from a safe distance.
But I understand how new parents would not want to share their baby with the world. I think the Brangelinas are obscene, selling pictures. Who is going to buy the magazines when the pictures are available for free on the internet?
Maybe there is something wrong with this kid is the reason they are not selling her pictures very strange

Evidently a lot of folks are buying the magazine as it is sold out in many outlets. I bought it because I wanted to have it as a keepsake. The photographer took some absolutely stunning pictures of the kids.

There is nothing wrong with Sunday Rose. Nicole and Keith did not sell pictures of their wedding either. She has said in the past that selling pictures of her wedding and children are not something she wants to do. Although I love that Brad and Angie get as much money as they can to donate to charity–I also respect the fact that Nicole knows she doesn’t need the money and doesn’t want to do it. What I find hard to respect are these stars who sell their baby’s pictures and KEEP the money.
Nicole’s face looks pretty in those photos.
I respect their right to privacy. Please leave them alone as they enjoy family time. It is winter in Australia so they should have the baby protected. She is only one month old and a vulnerable infant. Leave them alone.
Do people know that it is Winter right now in Australia? It is perfectly normal to cover the baby from the elements when they are young. Whatever the season.

I think my comment was cut off,,,, BUT SASHA WAS THAT NICE GIRL???? First of all, Nicole can see Bella and Connor whenever she wants to and she DID. CNN reported that they spent one week at their private estate in Nashville, and showed a private plane touching down at the Nashville airport, with bodyguards AND Urban picking the children up after Sunday Rose was born. They came with gifts for their sister that they had picked out themselves according to Katie Holmes who took them shopping BUT let them pick out what THEY wanted. If Nicole and Keith want to keep their baby private and out of the limelight a little longer, that is their business. Even Halle Berry is doing that and sueing those getting close to her home. The paparazzi should have left after Nicole asked them to so could walk around her town in peace. The rest of the pictures are ridiculous. I wish the Urbans peace and luck and Best wishes.

I think the press should listen to their request and leave them alone. There is a tiny newborn baby involved here and naturally her parents are going to want to be overprotective so no car chases/accidents happen. Antonia Kidman lives just a few blocks from me in Sydney, but I certainly wouldn’t hover around or pester them just so I could see a glimpse of Sunday Rose.

Your bitterness with your ex shows thru your comment quite plainly. Nicole does see her other kids and she does love them. If you look at the pictures of them together when they were young–she doted on them. You don’t lose that love. She has always been quite protective of them. That is why you don’t see a press release every time she sees them which is far more often than you might suspect. I know people who have worked on films with her and she talks to them daily and sees them far more than you would guess. She fiercely guards their privacy and protects them just as fiercely. I’m sorry your husband hurt you, but Nicole doesn’t deserve your suppositions based on your pain. I highly doubt her kids will be writing a mommy dearest book. They love her deeply and you can see that love is mutual when you see pictures of them together. She beams and is so very proud of them.

They’re saying that their baby is a tiny tiny litlle thing, so I wonder how tiny baby Sunday really is. We noticed that Nicole seemed to be very body conscious even when she was pregnant all along since she was always photographed out exercising with her trainer wearing tight sweatshirts.
Interesting that they don’t want to be photographed, but yet let’s go on the radio and make a plea to the paps. What good does that do? It was only an announcement to Australia to let them know they had arrived.
With regards to Bella and Connor seeing Sunday in Nashville - wrong - there is photographic evidence that Tom’s kids were never in Nashville during that time! The window of opportunity to be in Nashville would have been less than 24 hours. If that was the visit - wow, I’m impressed that Nicole could spend less than 24 hours with her kids in over a year!
Nicole is self obsessed! She doesn’t see her kids, I am sure. Tom is a good dad obviously. Him and Nicole took on a responsibility when they adopted and I don’t think she could handle it because they were not “hers”. It happens. Now she has “hers” and that’s that! This woman is WEIRD!

well, i’ll tell you. did you think that it’s nicole herself who is giving the wrong impression. let’s see, she legally adopted two children. she didn’t have to but she did. that implies that she is willing and able to taken on the responsibility of being a loving mother to both of them. well from where i sit, a loving mother doesn’t leave her children to take off with her new husband to visit australia. she and the new husband take the children with them..
