OlderNikki is a Blonsky Brawler
Hairspray’s Nikki Blonsky recently got into a tussle with America’s Next Top Model contestant Bianca Golden and her mom.
According to E!, however, sources say that they were not shocked that the rumble went down. “I’m just surprised it hadn’t happened sooner,” the source says. “Her mom is so obnoxious and difficult.”
The source also claimed that Nikki flaked out on a promise to sing at the Palm Springs Film Festival last year. “She said she would sing ‘Good Morning Baltimore,’ ” the source said. “But at the last minute, she said she was too ill to perform.”
So ill that, “Nikki was well enough to jump into her chauffeured Town Car with her mom to go eat at places like Jack in the Box!” said the source.

I for one have no problem with the skinny model and her fam getting beat down! Sounds to me like the model was trying to Bogart and Nikki was having none of that. You go BIG GURL!

I agree with Jessica. Nikki is an amazingly talented person. How quickly people forget that and revert to the fat comments. You could tell that she was sick at Palm Springs, based on her interviews. We haven’t heard what really happened that day, and I am absolutely certain that Nikki didn’t start the brawl. Try to show compassion people!
Both parties lawyers will handle this in court. And the court system will decided how to handle it.
Nikki is still a good actress and will get through this. This situation will not effect her career.
I like how the media doesn’t mention how that chick from ANTM always made fun of the autistic girl. Bianca was down right cruel to Heather on her season of ANTM. So whatever she got that beotch sure as hell deserved. She found her an opportunity to get her no name fug face into blogs and newspapers and still people don’t give a crap about her.

You know JJ, you have to be one of the most biased ‘journalists’ I’ve ever encountered. In all the time I’ve been checking your site I’ve seen at the most two positive posts about Nikki. The rest are doctored with your negative, sickening spin just because Nikki may not necessarily fit the profile of the other celebs you post about (which I applaud her for).
As for the whole scandal, anyone with a smidge of common sense knows that there are two sides to every story. I am confident that the truth will come out and this will all blow over. Unfortunately until then ruthless members of the media like yourself will find some sort of pleasure in dragging Nikki, her family, and their good name through the mud. You all should be ashamed of yourselves.
Jessica I agree with you I think it is very said that JJ seems to only post that bad stuff about Nikki. If Nikki’s mom was that bad we would have heard something before now people talk (why is this information just now coming out oh because it makes Nikki and her family look bad). Why did you need to add the Jack in the box that was freakin just plain mean. This whole story has gotten way out of control and your not helping either JJ. Nikki really was sick when that perfomance had to be canceled but obviously you are not a singer you can be really sick and not be able to perform but you still can eat .
People get over the fact that Nikki doesn’t look like the other skeltons walking around in Hollywood that doesn’t determing the kind of person she is and you guys are very shallow sad and pathetic people for saying stuff about that .

But to criticize Jared, is RIDICULOUS. I looked back on all the NIkki posts and this one is the only negative one, unless you include the one about the arrest. Unfortunately, even if he likes a celebrity, he posts what’s new. But don’t go saying he’s always posting negative stuff about her. That’s just wrong.

a little education for you…
1. Weight itself is not a health problem. In fact, fat people live longer than thin people and are more likely to survive cardiac events, and some studies have shown that fat can protect against “infections, cancer, lung disease, heart disease, osteoporosis, anemia, high blood pressure, rheumatoid arthritis and type 2 diabetes.” Yeah, you read that right: even the goddamned diabetes. Now, I’m not saying we should all go out and get fat for our health (which we wouldn’t be able to do anyway, because no one knows how to make a naturally thin person fat any more than they know how to make a naturally fat person thin; see point 4), but I’m definitely saying obesity research is turning up surprising information all the time — much of which goes ignored by the media — and people who give a damn about critical thinking would be foolish to accept the party line on fat. Just because you’ve heard over and over and over that fat! kills! doesn’t mean it’s true. It just means that people in this culture really love saying it.
2. Poor nutrition and a sedentary lifestyle do cause health problems, in people of all sizes. This is why it’s so ******* crucial to separate the concept of “obesity” from “eating crap and not exercising.” The two are simply not synonymous — not even close — and it’s not only incredibly offensive but dangerous for thin people to keep pretending that they are. There are thin people who eat crap and don’t exercise — and are thus putting their health at risk — and there are fat people who treat their bodies very well but remain fat. Really truly.
3. What’s more, those groups do not represent anomalies; no one has proven that fat people generally eat more or exercise less than thin people. Period. And believe me, they’ve tried. (Gina Kolata’s new book, Rethinking Thin, is an outstanding source for more on that point.)
4. Diets don’t work. No, really, not even if you don’t call them diets. If you want to tell me about how YOUR diet totally worked, do me a favor and wait until you’ve kept all the weight off for five years. Not one year, not four years, five years. And if you’ve kept it off for that long, congratulations. You’re literally a freak of nature.
5. Given that diets don’t work in the long-term for the vast, vast majority of people, even if obesity in and of itself were a health crisis, how the **** would you propose we solve it?
6. Most fat people have already dieted repeatedly. And sadly, it’s likely that the dieting will cause them more health problems than the fat.
7. Human beings deserve to be treated with dignity and respect. Fat people are human beings.
8. Even fat people who are unhealthy still deserve dignity and respect. Still human beings. See how that works?
9. In any case, shaming teh fatties for being “unhealthy” doesn’t ******* help. If shame made people thin, there wouldn’t be a fat person in this country, trust me. I wish I could remember who said this, ’cause it’s one of my favorite quotes of all time: “You cannot hate people for their own good.”
10. If you scratch an article on the obesity crisis! you will almost always find a press release from a company that’s developing a weight loss drug — or from a “research group” that’s funded by such companies.

I agree with #36, this the first negative post of Nikki that JJ posted. All the one in the past year have been real positive and good post regarding her. JJ has always been fair to her.
That is funny how some of you said that Perez Hilton’s post is real good comments regarding Nikki. Most celebrities considered Perez Hilton a worst and evil enemies, because he usually post untrue gossips and untrue facts regarding the celebrities. Most celebrities try to stay away from those papps of Perez Hilton.
I sure Nikki will be fine and exceed through this very fast. The media coverages will be over within less than 4 months. Look at all the celebrities that have been arrested and charged with criminal action of this type…they seem get off real fast without serving time in jail. And yet, their acting/singing/modeling careers still kept on going and in same case, even stronger. The media coverage is just when it first happen, then after a month or so, that news just disappears and everyone soon forgotten about it.

Bianca and her family obviously started the fight, there is a video with a WITNESS commentary and everything. If you care so much, why don’t you go watch that.
Bianca’s mother Elaine is walking around and fine in the vid, by the way. There’s nothing wrong with her. Carl, Nikki’s dad did nothing wrong.
but I guess none of you care about the facts. You just take one look at Nikki and you’re automatically against her because you are so narrow minded and hateful. I hope no one treats you the way you are treating Nikki and her fans right now.
and I really do hope you can all learn to love yourselves so you’re not so insecure anymore.
